Overview
Leirubakki Hotel is a small and cozy hotel that offers great personalised service and a top location in the South of Icealand, near Hekla, the volcano. The hotel has 14 rooms, each with a private bathroom. Each room is equipped with double beds, however beds can be switched out for either two or three single beds. It is also possible to set an additional single bed alongside a double bed, all based upon the wishes of our guests. In the building itself, guests will find a wonderful sitting area where they can sit down together after a full day of amazing adventures. There guests can also brew coffee or tea There is free internet access in the lobby and sitting area. Guests can enjoy the hot tub on the deck next to the hotel. The Viking Pool (Víkingalaugin) is also open to all guests at Leirubakki during the summer season.

“Great views”
Peace and quiet. The views. Decent breakfast. Limited facilities in the room but there was a fully functioning kitchen for guests to use

“Our best stay in Iceland”
Delicious and abundant breakfast. Confortable rooms and beds. Nice living room with sofas, coffee machine, water boiling, teas... Perfect place for a relaxed stay.

Beautiful view with all the horses and the mountains. The staff were really nice. I went riding with a guide, and I really enjoyed it. Super good horse! Breakfast was served in a really cool room with panorama view to the mountains and the horses.

“Great guesthouse”
Our holiday was incredibly enjoyable, especially thanks to our stay in this lovely and quaint guesthouse the beds were so soft and comfortable, and the breakfast that was delicious The horse ride was fun and interesting and Frida was very kind and hospitable and, if we’ll ever go back to Hella, we’ll definitely know where to stay!

It was a cozy place with horses all around. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We are arrived pretty late and they placed the keys for us to get after reception closed with a nice letter to explain everything. Good breakfast.
