“Worth to stay for a few day to reset”

Great location for Northern Lights. Everything was good. Not far from South Coast, Vik. Town Hella is close for some grocery and food, oil.

We had a wonderful stay at Guesthouse Svetlana in Hella. The house is very well equipped — everything you might need is there — and the location is peaceful and quiet, which made it a perfect place to relax. What truly made the stay special were the owners. They were incredibly kind and welcoming. They even brought us fresh bread and homemade pancakes, which was such a thoughtful gesture. It’s more than clear that these hosts go above and beyond to make sure their guests feel comfortable and enjoy their stay. Highly recommended!

Very friendly hosts, made us feel very welcome. The apartment has a separate entrance. There is a double bed in the living room / kitchen and a separate bedroom with another double bed. The apartment has a lot of equipment in the kitchen and it is cosy. The views are nice from the property. Hella is a short drive away and many attractions / points of interest are easily reachable by car.

“Wonderful apparentment for exploring the golden circle area”

Well equipped, spacious and very cosy apartment with a beautiful Mountain View. The booking was very short termed and we arrived late but everything was well prepared nonetheless. Our hosts were very friendly, helpful and even surprised us with delicious homemade pancakes! The apartment is well located for exploring the golden circle area and we can definitely recommend it also for a longer stay. We had an awesome time even though the weather was very rainy. Thanks Svetlana for hosting us!

Wonderful hosts, a beautiful location and had everything we needed plus more. Freshly made bread and home made banana pancakes were a surprise bonus and so yummy. The kids loved having a chance to meet the horses and feed them.

It immediately felt at home, there was a pleasant atmosphere. Svetlana is a rare woman in her kindness, she took care of us as if we were her family, she immediately made us feel comfortable. Everything we wanted she immediately helped and was cordial and warm. Unequivocally we will return to stay there.

the living environment is quite good and the homestay couple are extremely warmhearted and considerate. The house is quite clean and the kitchen is well-equipped. Its hard to part with them. We will miss them and the lovely dog~

Good location to stop before/after Landmannalaugar. It felt just like home at this place. I don't know why, but it just felt so warm, so relaxing.. when my fiance entered the room, she instantly said she could live there forever... friendly owners and very cool and cute dog. Mrs. Svetlana was very nice and friendly. Thank for her hospitality. We arrived completely wet from the trip, Mrs. Svetlana gave us a shoe dryer and a hanger.

We had a fantastic stay at this countryside house. The location is a peaceful quiet countryside, and it’s a great base for exploring attractions you want to drive to. The house (entire ground floor) was clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed and even more. Svetlana is friendly and helpful, providing clear instructions, local tips and fantastic breakfast pancakes! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable place outside the city.

Beautiful appartment with perfectly equipped kitchen, separate bedroom, everything decorated with love and style! The view is stunning! Svetlana welcomed us with home made blinis, delicious, and a cake for Easter. Simply the best stay during our visit to Iceland.

Warm welcome. All you need to feel at home - from the slippers to the cooking necessities. Highly recommended. We received very good advice about our journey and were sent with takeaway home made pancakes.

Best accommodation in Iceland, wonderful hosts. Excellent facilities, home away from home.

The entire place was superb. This is the ground floor of the cottage where travellers stay, while the owners stay right upstairs. Hence, we were the only tourists there. It was a huge place. Very well maintained, tastefully decorated place. It was really nice to chat Svetlana and her husband. We stayed at a lot of places and farm houses during our 13 day trip to iceland (4 people). I have to say, this was the best accommodation we stayed in, with all being on similar price points. Most places had a double bed and a sofa cum bed. Only here we could get two large double beds. Everyone in our group were ecstacic about it. We stayed here for two nights, and saw amazing aurora right outside the door. We had clear skies both the days. Also there was little light polution here.

The location is on a farm very near to the ring road . The house is in a scenic location . The rooms are comfortable and you have all the facilities for a comfortable stay. we were just there for the night before we started to Vik . we all would have liked to have stayed longer. Will definitely book this property again the next time I am in Hella.

Welcoming apple cake from Svetlana, homemade sourdough from Kelly. Being greeted & farewelled each day. Having the horses nearby was so lovely. The views from accommodation are out of this world. We loved it and strongly recommend to everyone.
