The houses are completely isolated and set on a picturesque hill. Despite being small, the space was adequate for 2 people to be in comfortably. We had to change our plans due to a severe weather warning and chose to stay there for a second night. The host replied immediately and was very accommodating . They also have all the necessary cooking utensils as well as salt, olive oil etc

Was the most incredible experience. The cottage itself is beautiful. It is remote but worth the drive. We were able to see the most spectactular Northern lights display on the first night we arrived. Definately a must stay spot

If you’re looking for a place far from the city and crowds, this is a great choice. I experienced the strongest wind of my life here — and also the most spectacular northern lights. The host was very responsive and replied quickly to any questions. The road to the accommodation was very well maintained even in winter.

Lovely stay! Really happy that we found this stay. It was so comfortable and well equipped. Thankfully we also managed to catch our very first northern lights here!

Easy to check-in without dependency on the arrival time. And kitchenary was sufficient to have a simple meal at the location, quite and private.

This cabin is very bright and clean with a well organized interior. The kitchen includes everything you need for a basic meal. The shower is small but offered the best water pressure we experienced during our trip in Iceland. Bed is comfortable, wifi is good, and the area is very quiet. Bathroom offers good counter space and hooks for towels.
