Location is within walking distance for all the sights you want to see, just park your car at the hotel's parking lot and do it all on foot. The staff is extremely friendly and there for you night and day, not something you can take for granted in a smaller Hotel.

The staff was exceptional: everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. I had a small issue during the booking process, but they handled it with great care and professionalism, making me feel completely safe and comfortable traveling alone as a woman. Upon arrival, they immediately provided me with a map and a personalized guide to the places I was interested in, which was extremely helpful. The room was cozy and comfortable, and I slept very well throughout my stay. Breakfast was delicious. Although it’s not a buffet, they bring you all their available options if you wish, and everything was tasty, nutritious, and very filling—perfect if you plan to spend the day walking around, as I did. I would absolutely recommend this place without hesitation and would definitely stay here again if I return to Heidelberg.

“Very enjoyable stay in Heidelberg”

Our standard double room was massive, with a sofa, easy chair, and table, as well as a table & 2 chairs on the balcony. We had no trouble parking on site, though there are only 5 spaces so it's useful to know there is also public parking nearby. Very good breakfast. Extremely friendly and informative hosts. We enjoyed the location on the edge of the old town, with easy walks to the Philosopher's Way and the main shopping street, and only 15 minutes to the centre of the old town.

One of my top five all time breakfasts! Really outstanding with homemade jam and excellent rolls. The garden was a lovely place to sit and the room was quiet and peaceful. The couple who run the hotel were lovely and it was excellent value.

Excellent breakfast - the homemade jam was delicious! Location is perfect, with the magical forest right behind the hotel and the old town a few minutes walk from the front of the hotel. Peter is an extremely kind and generous host.
