“For us it was the perfect place to break a long journey”
We arrived a bit late and only stayed for a short night and hence could not get the full experience the place has to offer. We received a warm welcome and every effort was made by the hostess to ensure we were comfortable. The hostess was personally involved in ensuring our comfort and that meant a lot to us, right down to suggesting a place we could enjoy a very nice supper after a long drive. Highly recommended.

“Great stay on a working farm with warm hospitality.”
We stayed in the "Uilhuis" (owlhouse) next to main house. The layout is perfect with a large terrace, basic kitchen facilities, and a comfortable double bed. Very friendly reception by Bellinda. Good Wi-Fi reception.

“Traditional Rondewal accommodation on a working farm”
We stayed here one night in mid November, 2024, in the Rondewal property. Sleeping in this round house was a delight for us, reminding us of camping in an earlier life. But don't be fooled; it was comfortable, we slept well, and it had all the facilities one could wish to make a pleasant stay. The accommodation is self catering with a fully equipped sheltered outdoor kitchen, a microwave and braai(BBQ). This is also a working farm and, as we were checking in, the last of the wheat harvest was being brought in, which was fascinating. The hostess, Belinda, is welcoming, helpful, efficient and nothing is too much trouble for her. For example, while paying via Paypal, we had some unexpected IT trouble which she expertly guided us through. Top marks! That she runs such a high quality guest house business AND plays her part on the farm only proves how capable she is. We could easily have stayed here more than one night, and were sorry to have to move on.

“Perfect staying overnight as right next to N2. Highly recommendation to anyone must go there!”
We enjoyed our staying at Rondawel in Melkboom farm very much especially we love the Rondwel house as it was so perfect for two people and everything met our needs. It was so perfect for us to stay there for one night and halfway drive from Knysna to Hermanus - Melkboom farm was right next to N2. Blendia was so friendly and warm host to us.
