I had the Full English breakfast. I should have opted for a smaller breakfast as I couldn't do the full one justice! Superb scrambled eggs. I got a warm welcome and the hosts were very friendly.

Friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms. Freedom to come and go as we pleased.

It is a nice safe and quiet location but very walkable into town. The rooms are super comfortable and the main house a tribute to times gone by in a good way. Good and safe parking. We bought breakfast and that was a treat. The owner and her staff were wonderful. I have now lived in Victorian splendour with all mod cons.

We had an amazing time at the Oak Manor. A really charming place, nicely decorated Dina and her husband were incredible, very caring and gave us tons of insights for the rest of our trip Would definitely recommend staying there while coming in South Africa

Dina is friendly and very helpful, my fiancé and I stayed here the night before our wedding. On the day of our wedding Dina allowed us to take a few couple photos in their lovely garden which we really appreciated. Thanks Dina.

The house was fascinating with so many beautiful artefacts. It was very luxurious and a great experience. Our suite was spacious and fully equipped and comfortable The owners Dina and Gavin were exceptional hosts and couldn't do enough for us. And John made us the most delicious vegan meal and breakfasts. We had a braai one evening and Dina provided everything we needed to cook our food. On top of that the whole stay was amazing value and I can't recommend this place highly enough

“The perfect location for overnight stay before flying from Johannesburg.”

My wife and I were doing a South African road trip after arriving in Cape Town. Our flights out were from Johannesburg so we looked for accommodation a decent distance to arrive at the airport in good time. We searched for something under an hour away from airport and found Oak View Manor in Heidelberg. We could not have been happier - what an ideal place with lovely staff as well as the two friendly dogs. Very secure parking and rooms were lovely. The history with this house is amazing and the way the whole place has been decorated with many historical items is truly amazing. Host is super informative and the breakfast we had was just perfect. Plenty shops, restaurants and petrol stations within 5 minutes of accommodation.
