The host Antoon met us and handed the keys over and gave us a quick tour of the apartment. The property is in a very quiet location, extremely clean, new and modern, as per the photos and property description. There is great local shop around 3 minutes' walk away where you buy essentials. The property is easily accessible by train from Amsterdam Centraal to Haarlem Centraal, then Bus 250 to Leiden, just hop off at Rijnlaan bus stop. You will see the property on the opposite side of the road to the right. An easy 15–20-minute walk away is the centre of Heemstede where you can find restaurants, pubs/bars and shops. This is the perfect property if you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil place to stay in the Netherlands. If travelling by car it is approximately a 30-35-minute drive to/from Amsterdam and Schipol Airport.

Nice spacious room with a big bed and bathroom, with a convenient kitchennette. The location was very nice, bus stops outside the door, places to go on walks in nature. Quiet room apart from the noisy fridge. The hosts were very nice and we enjoyed our stay!

Very nice and peaceful place. We had a great stay! The place was very confortable and the hosts are very nice. We enjoyed looking at the cows and horses outside. The area was better than expected since there is a center area with a bunch of stores and restaurants that were in walking/biking distance. Highly recommended.

Brilliant shower, plenty of hot water. Lovely warm underfloor heating, it was April and cold outside. Netflix on the TV. Very convenient for the bulb fields and Keukenhof. Hosts were helpful and friendly and spoke very good English.

Breakfast was lovely! And all the nice additions to the apartment, like coffee, wine, juice and tea were such a nice surprise! The kitchen was very well supplied. We loved the location, and the apartment itself was super nice, clean, and had everything we needed.
