“Quaint relaxing cottage”

The location was very quiet and within walking distance of the main street with many cafes and eating places. Very clean cottage.Like a home away from home.The kitchenette was well stocked with crockery,utensils and some groceries.The bbq was a plus. The property was well fenced which was great when we had an active toddler. When having a slight problem with the hot water on the first night Oliver was always responsive. Loved the wood heater...plenty of wood was available.A great holiday cottage and very relaxing.

Harker House is located close to the town, hiking and cycling but on a very quiet street. It was large and had a lovely front verandah to sit on for a morning tea. Pleasant surroundings with lots of trees and birds.

“Cozy, Convenient and Charming …”

Just back from our winter girls' getaway, and I'm still beaming! Harker House is the ultimate retreat – it's like being wrapped in a warm hug from the moment you arrive. The convenient key drop by the front door was a thoughtful touch, no fuss or hassle. And the pièce de résistance? The fireplace was everything we hoped for! The hosts had thoughtfully stocked up on wood, so we could cozy up and watch the Logies. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed - most importantly, wine glasses ( priorities, people!). The bathroom was spacious and clean, and the shower was... well, let's just say we eventually figured out the temperature thing. But the real winner is the location. Walking distance to Four Pillars and Healesville town? Genius! We didn't need to drive anywhere except to wineries (and, well, we had someone for that). The hosts were easy to deal with too. All in all, Harker House is a great place to base yourself and get cozy.
