Supper menu upon arrival was excellent and the choices we made were very tasty. Breakfast was simple but very adequate. Location was wonderful, looking out over the inlet. Staff were wonderful and cheerful.

Beautiful location and only an hour from the airport. Great little restaurant food was fabulous. Room was great, bed comfortable. Bathroom was small but good for me.

“A wonderful, peaceful, comfortable place with beautiful surroundings”
It's a very inviting, peaceful and scenic place to stay! We loved our spacious room with sitting area and large bathroom on the main floor right next to a complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate station. The view of reflections from buildings and trees across the lake from the dining area was beautiful. Our host Margit was warm and friendly. The breakfast was served individually, and each table has its own toaster so you can have hot toast whenever you are ready. Toast, yogurt, fruit, cheese and meat was the menu. Although about 30 minutes outside of Halifax, we found the drive easy and very worthwhile.

The location was absolutely beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the fact that there were no TV's and you could just unplung a little. It was nice there was a restaurant on site too

This is a nice hotel with a very friendly host and staff. The food in the evening was excellent. Very nice to find that even when the restaurant is closed they serve staying guests.
