The Sabie River Bush Lodge was set in an idyllic setting on the River Sabie. Elephants & Hippos could be seen on an evening while having a sunset drink on the decking. The staff were courteous and helpful. The half board option was a must. Great food & lots of it. The safari guide Casca was great & found us leopards, lions & a whole load of super animals. We will be back!

Very pleasant and efficient staff. Comfortable cabin. Restaurant with upper level bar and viewing deck, looking over the river into the partk, where a dozen elephants showed up one morning. Good quality food.

In all aspects excellent. This stay was by far the no. 1 of our stays in South Africa, during our 3 week holiday (with an other stay every night). The room was neat and spacious. We're traveling with a toddler of 1,5 and everything was provided here. The site was really nice with a view on the river and Kruger. We have seen the elephants bathing. We had dinner and breakfast included, which were both really well and all homemade and fresh. The prices for additional consumptions were (to my surprise) very affordable. Most outstanding were the staff. Especially one of them with a major smile to make our days. Our car was washed the next day without any asking. What a service!

Great waiting staff and food. The game drive was booked through the hotel and would definitely recommend this. Our guide France extended the drive to see rhinos and was incredibly knowledgable.

The staff were so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. France who drove and told us about the animals on the Safari provided an excellent service and Patrick took us on the panoramic tour which he simply made the best tour we have ever been on.

What a magical place! A huge thank you to the entire team at Sabie River Bush Lodge for their kindness. The whole staff is extremely professional and caring. We had a warm welcome with a refreshing towel and a homemade drink at our arrival. Our two luxury tents were very comfortable; we lacked nothing. The view over the Sabie River was simply incredible. Dinner was excellent, with vegetarian options that we truly appreciated. Breakfast was unbelievably good (homemade bread, pancakes, homemade jam, etc.) — 10/10 for the food. The pool and garden are very well maintained, and the place is very peaceful. We were even able to see hippos right in front of us. Our car was cleaned as well on the day we left, we also really appreciate this attention. One night was not enough; we would have loved to stay longer — it was fantastic. 15 min drive from Paul Kruger gate. We will definitely come back. Thank you so much, we had a perfect stay !
