We loved everything. It was Calm, Cosy, being towards the vineyards, the hosts and access to Havelock North - everything very convenient. Very friendly and cute chicken. The beds were really comfortable. We felt Like being at Home, but with every comfort you Need and silence around you.

The hosts have thought to provide all the essentials, as well as many thoughtful and unexpectedly appreciated touches. If you've been disappointed with post-lockdown "5-star" hospitality at places you've previously enjoyed, come and spend a few nights here. The cottage is very handy to all the local attractions, vineyards, restaurants, scenic walks, Ocean Beach et al. It's a really great spot from which to explore Hawkes Bay. The welcome by the host and the complimentary wine, which was so good that we purchased some additional bottles. The property was exceptionally well equipped, clean and comfortable. A lovely place to stay.

A lovely place to stay. Utterly tranquil especially sitting out in the evening. The cottage was spacious, well appointed and had all the facilities we needed. Very convenient 10 minute drive to Havelock North for facilities and food shopping. The four chickens were charming 😁

We liked the plentiful supply of English breakfast tea. The location was great and we loved seeing the chickens and having fresh eggs for breakfast!!
