“Quiet and relaxing stay just outside of town.”
Nice location just outside of town. Is in a separated area of the host's property. Quite peaceful with a nice outlook over farmlands. The unit has everything you need except a clothes dryer (which wasn't an issue for my stay). There is also a friendly cat who dropped by one night (Frankie!) for some attention! You will need a car to get to the property if you don't have one for whatever reason.

The location of this property overlooking Hastings and Havelock North is superb if you are looking for peace and quiet. It seems to be part of a farm property but is secluded and private, which is just as well given that the bathtub is outside! (there is an indoor shower). It's a little small, but adequately equipped for two people. The hosts provide ingredients for a simple make-it-yourself continental breakfast, which was fine for us but perhaps less generous than some other places we have stayed. There is a one-ring hob available if you want to cook for yourself. Overall a very pleasant place to stay for a few days.

The host had thought of everything you could need and ensured all of those little things were supplied - body wash, cooking condiments etc. which made it so easy to just turn up and relax. It was quiet, clean and overall a fantastic experience.
