Very nice staff, very friendly, good advice for eatinv out, remembered the preference for coffee in the morning already after the first day. The room was spacious. Got immediately an extra pillow when asked for. Very nice breakfast, a lot of options.

“Space to Relax in the Black Forest”
Lots of space and wonderful to have a sauna after a long hike. The host was very helpful both on the phone and in person. We felt comfortable and relaxed during our stay and slept wonderfully. I would recommend staying here!

It was so clean and all re done bathroom Fantastic Shame it was out of season I bet it was awesome in full season .reception was fantastic a big help and even booked us in to restaurant for a meal. The breakfast was brilliant aswell i couldn't fault it at all .

Very comfortable and clean rooms. Friendly staff. New owner was an excellent host and provided some useful advice for hikes, local restaurants and family activities. Good and varied breakfast. Excellent value for money. Great location: many possibilities for activities in the nearby area (a wide variety of hiking opportunities in Hochshwarzwald, indoor and outdoor swimming facilities, spa, rodelbahn, mini-golf about 300m from hotel, nice authentic towns like St Blasien, etc).
