Overview
Litli Geysir Hotel is on Route 35, located only 200 metres from the world famous Geysir hot spring in Iceland’s Haukadalur Valley. It offers an in-house restaurant as well as free access to WiFi and free parking. A flat-screen TV and private bathroom with shower are standard in each room at Litli Geysir Hotel. The adjoining Geysir Centre, 200 metres away, includes 2 restaurants and a coffee house. Staff at the hotel can help book tours around the area and activities such as snowmobile tours, horse rental, river jet/rafting and golf. A souvenir and clothing shop are also found on site and in-room massages can be booked for an extra fee. The Gullfoss Waterfall is a 10-minute drive from the hotel. Reykjavík city centre is a 1.5-hour drive away.

“Apart from the location next to the Geysirs....really disappointing”
Little Geysir has free parking and is located right across from the Geysirs! The room is oke, with comfy bed and spacious room.

“The upgrade to Geysir was awesome”
We were upgraded to the Big Geysir hotel, located right next to the little one which was awesome.. Can't tell much about the little Geysir except that it is located right across the street form the famous destinaiton

“High comfort”
We were upgraded into the Hotel Geysir (same owner). What a nice place! Big rooms, great beds, everything was very comfortable. Highly recommended!

“Great hotel next to Geysir”
We were upgraded to Geysir Hotel from original booked hotel. With a group of 12, and requested to have rooms closed to each other from original booking, rooms were nonetheless assigned in different directions and on separate floors even. The receptionist seems to be new to job. He gave us keys for seven rooms instead of six and only realised after I inquire for the number of rooms I booked. Other than that, the lighting inside room tends to be on the dark side specially around kettle area. The food at restaurant was great and specially breakfast with alot of choices. Overall, the stay at Geysir Hotel was great after a long day.

“Almost perfect”
We got an upgrade to the new 4 stars Hotel - Hotel Geysir, it is a wonderful new hotel. Stylish and so modern, the view from the window seat is breathtaking, also walking distance to the Geysir as well. We visited on a snow storm day. The staffs are very friendly even tho we need to take the side entrance to enter/leave the hotel at that night. The restaurant is very nice too, and the food was so tasty. Highly recommended ❤️

“Great location and the rooms were modern with a very comfortable bed.”
The location was perfect to access all the attractions we wanted to visit. The lounge area was nice to relax in at the end of the day. The reception staff - Georgiana - was excellent and very friendly and answered our questions

Amazing location, you can go walking to Geysir and less that 10 minutes with the car is the Gullfoss waterfall. The room was warm, looks pretty new and clean. Really good but for 1 stay if you want to sleep and continue your trip.
