Host Nana took great care to look after us. Cooked a meal for us on the last night and had breakfast each morning. Elegant and spacious house in a nice setting, 15 minutes walk to centre of town. Comfortable rooms with en suite, (others are room only with shared bathroom). Shower ok with usual cool water. Fans only, as AC is not needed in Hatton. Host was happy for us to use his kitchen and make tea etc.

The house is modern and spacious. We were able to use the upstairs living room and outdoor patio too, which was very relaxing with a pot of tea prepared by our host. The room was comfortable with interesting views of the neighbour's yard and surrounding tea plantations. The breakfast was plentiful and we ordered omelets, which were tasty. We were able to walk to the town centre in about 15 minutes. Our host kindly suggested an excursion to Aberdeen waterfall and arranged a tuktuk for us. Overall, Ulpatha is great value for money

Nana’s dinner and breakfast were amazing. We were pooped and he sorted us out including providing karaoke and a disco light. We had such a lovely time.

Everything was immaculate , nice bathroom, hot showers and comfortable bed. We had use of the beautiful lounge area and kitchen and outdoor seating, perfect for making a hot drink. The location is in a peaceful quiet part of town, only a 10 minute walk from the main town or train station but along quiet back roads. We found two great places to eat in town, very local , delicious food and cost very little. Nana made us a delicious breakfast with lots of different dishes the best we have had our whole trip and kept us full all day. Hatton is a great place to spend a few days in as there is so much to see only a bus trip away
