We had a truly fabulous stay at Argyle Resort and cannot recommend it highly enough. After a long journey from Negombo through the breathtaking scenery of Sri Lanka’s hill country, we arrived at this incredible oasis tucked away in the hills of Hatton, surrounded by lush greenery and the fresh aroma of tea plantations. From the very first moment, the experience was exceptional. We were warmly greeted by the entire staff and honestly did not know how to respond to such genuine kindness, hospitality, and friendliness. We travel frequently and have stayed in many hotels around the world, but we have never experienced such a heartfelt welcome before. To make our stay even more special, we were generously upgraded upon arrival. The rooms are beautifully designed, extremely comfortable, with wonderfully cozy beds and spacious bathrooms that made it so easy to relax after our travels. Everything about this resort feels peaceful, elegant, and personal. The stunning surroundings, attentive service, and warm atmosphere created an unforgettable experience for us. Thank you to the entire Argyle team for making us feel so welcomed and cared for. We will certainly remember this stay for a very long time.

This is the best hotel we have been to so far in sri lanka. Everything is basically amazing including the staff. I‘m sri lankan and my girlfriend is German and this hotel made our stay memorable. Many thanks to Mr. Nilantha for giving us a good experience. Nadan is an amazing manager. Rushanthi made sure our stay was without any problem. She deserves a promotion. Chef tharaka and Yoga‘s meals are next level super. Srikanth also made sure everything in our vacation went smoothly. Also thanks to Shiva for helping us whenever we needed. When we come back to Sri Lanka again we will definitely come here again

Staying in that incredible Hotel , surrounded by that idyllic tranquil green tea plantations was a superb experience. ALL ( and I mean EACH single member of that hotel team ) was a fantastic host. It’s such a lovely heartwarming and professionally working team high up in the mountains of Hatton. The pool is superclean and warmed up, the sunbeds always prepared with a towel ( even after the rain , it got dried up quickly again and again ) It’s like heaven , to swim in that warm water , when another rainshower shows up. The greens , the garden is maintained every day and every where you can see flowers blooming. The cleaning team is all day long busy to “make the things shining” . The front desk team is professional, quickly working and doing all the best to fulfill all your wishes. I had also a wonderful massage in the SPA, which is very recommendable. Last but not least, I definitely want to mention the fantastic service in the restaurant , which is serving that extraordinary delicious and fresh food of the kitchen. Thank you soooo soooo much !! It was definitely the best choice of a hotel in my 3 weeks of travelling through Sri Lanka.

Our stay at The Argyle Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The staff were so attentive and kind and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was incredible and we were very kindly upgraded for the night which was such a lovely surprise. The attention to detail really stood out including a thoughtful takeaway lunch for the day we left. A special thank you to Vithu who welcomed us with open arms. The heated pool was beautifully clean, the interior was lovely, and the drinks were great. We would absolutely love to return.

We had a fantastic stay at Argyle Boutique Luxury Hotel. Since we entered the hotel until we left, Rushi took great care of us and made sure everything was perfect. All the staff were incredibly friendly and always smiling. The attention to detail really stood out; we loved the delicious tea on arrival and the biscuits waiting in the room. The bed was very comfortable. The food was great. We had dinner once from the à la carte menu and another night from the buffet, and both were great in terms of variety and quality. Breakfast was also very good. We also appreciated that the hotel listens to guest feedback — for example, they provide now refillable free water bottles in the room and the gym has A/C, which makes a big difference. The QR codes for the little hikes around the tea plantations were great for a slow morning. Ps: the pool was perfect size, specially given that is heated. We enjoyed it so much at sunset time! Overall, a wonderful and very comfortable stay. We highly recommend it. Thank you Argyle team!

“Top quality service in a peaceful hill top location”

Hatton is a tranquil haven away from the bustle of popular tourist destinations and this hotel is perched at the top of a valley and was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed top class service from all staff we encountered but a particular shout out to Rishi in reception who was patient informative and helpful. We appreciated a room and meal deal upgrade. Outside pool area was very pleasant, buffet food was very comprehensive and offered lots of variety. We tended to choose Sri Lankan options and I couldn’t fault them. We enjoyed a 5km hike from the hotel which took in a local cricket match, villages and the tea plantation

This was an amazing experience. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, we felt at home immediately. Upon arrival we got a free upgrade to an amazing room and complementary dinners for the duration of our stay. The complex looked brand new and was well kept with great facilities and a lot of things to do. Breakfast, dinner and drinks were top notch and served with a smile. The SPA treatment was a joy and helped us feel reborn. This is by far the best experience I have ever had. If you are in Sri Lanka, make sure you stop by Argyle!

A very beautiful hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. Special thanks to Vithu and Srikanth, who took wonderful care of us. The view over the tea plantations is stunning, and the area is great for hiking. The food buffet is amazing for breakfast and dinner. The hotel organized a night transfer to Adam’s Peak and prepared a breakfast box for us. We took a tuk-tuk at 2 a.m., which waited for us while we climbed the mountain and brought us back to the hotel at around 10 a.m. The total price was 15,000 LKR.

“Amazing stay”

We really liked our stay here, the pool was heated so our kid neve wanted to get out. The staff were extremely nice and attentive always going the extra mile for us. The place is so peaceful and view is amazing.

The hotel folks are very sweet and nice. They go the extra mile to take care of the guests. They even made separate food not in the buffet to accommodate dietary preferences. The hotel is also clean and well maintained

We had a wonderful stay at The Argyle, and it was one of the highlights of our time in Sri Lanka. The hotel is set in a beautiful location surrounded by rolling tea fields, with lovely views and a real sense of calm. The building itself is elegant and well designed, and the heated outdoor pool is a real treat. We loved being able to walk around the surrounding area and take in the scenery and peaceful atmosphere. It is the perfect place to slow down and relax. What truly sets The Argyle apart is the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Shiva and Sudharshan, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We felt very spoilt with thoughtful extras and upgrades, which made the experience even more special. The spa massage was excellent and well worth it, particularly after a day of travelling. The food at the restaurant was very nice, and once again the service stood out, with Prasanth providing warm and attentive care throughout our meals. Overall, The Argyle is a beautiful and relaxing retreat with outstanding hospitality. We would highly recommend it and would happily stay again.

“Best service ever”

We spent 3 nights in Argyle hotel. The hotel staffs gave us a very warm welcome. Check in was smooth and quick. On the second day, we received upgrade: a lager room and dinner inclusive. ( We have booked a room with breakfast only). The breakfast was served buffet style. They have foods for the local taste and also western style. Dinner was served a la carte. The food was delicious. The staffs are so friendly, patient and helpful, especially Mr. Vital and Mr. Shiva. They gave us a lot of information. Mr. Vital helped us to book our excursion. The hotel was very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
