“Stay here not Nuwara Eliya”
Great for birding - 10 Endemics/ NE within 100m despite being in tea plantation. Fantastic in all ways. Beautiful garden, good food, very comfortable room. Hot high pressure water. It’s an hour from Nuwara Eliya but would still be worth staying here.

Everything was excellent - the property and the lush gardens, the room, the food and the very welcoming and polite staff. They went above and beyond with dinner and breakfast- the chef is amazing. The host even gave us a very interesting tea tour before our departure.

“Perfect spot for exploring the Pekoe trail”
Excellent location for walking several stages of the Pekoe trail. Spacious rooms, recently decorated with grand furniture. Welcoming staff and amazing chef with incredibly tasty, generous meals for breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed a dip in the pool after our hike - chilly but envigorating! They have a knowledgeable Tuktuk driver that can take you to the start and collect you from the finish of the Pekoe Stages. We stayed here for two stages but could have stayed longer and completed more from this perfect central spot.

“Relaxing and charming hotel set in a tea plantation”
Beautiful rooms, gardens and swimming pool, great breakfast and dinner. We played lots of pool and the hotel manager showed us how to play Carrom. He was patient and charming. He organised our tea plantation visit to Norwood. It was amazing. The guide there, Rimas, was superb. The tour was three hours and flew by. First a walk through the plantation then a break for tea and cake then the tea factory. The hotel set in a tea plantation itself, was so relaxing. We’d come here again.

Very good location with wonderful views over the area, nestled in tea plantations. Directly on the PEKOE TRAIL, for those who love to experience this wonderful hiking trail. Very friendly staff, great breakfast with nice curries.

Great location in terms of very calm silent place in the nature. The only thing there is a second building construction next to our place at the time we have visited.

“Beautiful location”
A Tuk tuk ride from Hatton station and lovely views when we got there. Large first floor room with big bed and a balcony, and lots of beautiful wooden furniture throughout the hotel.

“Tranquil hotel in nice surrounding”
The small hotel is situated on top of the hill overlooking tea plantages. Simple but spacious rooms. Delicious breakfast. Some renovations take place, but area is tranquil. Short tuk-tuk ride takes you to five star hotel a bit downhill for amusement, food & beverages. Team does everything to make you feel comfortable.

“Relaxed in Secluded Environment!”
Situated on top of a hill with a beautiful scenery. The upstair 2 rooms give a perfect view and perfect relaxation. The food is very fair priced and good. The staff is extremely friendly. Perfect for those who love tranquility!

“Great place just outside Hatton”
Staff are lovely. Very good value. It's worth paying a little extra for a better room with a view. Food is excellent; breakfast is enormous.

“Perfect place in Hatton area”
Probably the best value for money we found in Sri Lanka. The staff were super friendly and the manager went out of his way to welcome us and help us with our daily trips. We stayed with a toddler and the king suite on the ground floor was a great choice - plenty of green grass to run around barefoot. Good breakfast, excellent rice and curry! Look for the fireflies in the evening!
