The outdoor shower and bath. The beautiful carpentry. The little touches - fresh flowers in bathroom and shower, fruit bowl in kitchen, recommendations for local restaurants, umbrella left when it rained. The calm idyllic setting.

“A perfect little retreat in Hawkes Bay, we wish we could have stayed longer!”
Lots of individual little huts make up the full accommodation which is really unique and so much thought into the design of each. The outdoor shower is gorgeous! Overall super cosy, great location and lots of little extra touches. Really appreciated the use of bikes too

“Excellent, and can’t wait to return.”
Beautiful secluded location surrounded by trees, flowers and birdsong. Huts were so beautifully made and finished off with great detail. Bedroom was gorgeous, bed was comfortable. Deck was perfect for morning cuppa. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances etc and loved the extra touches of homemade jam and the extras. Toilet was clean and private. Outdoor shower was the best water pressure and just a gem with its view. Loved the outdoor bath with the extra’s and the view. All the little extra lights, bean bags and my favourite vases of flowers made it extra special. Hosts Julie & Tony were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in the Hawkes Bay we spent 4 nights and will definitely go back.

“Unique and Special”
We chose this place primarily for the location as it is a perfect spot to visit the surrounding area and visit the local wineries. It was so idyllic though that we actually just stayed there for 2 days and enjoyed all that the accommodation has to offer. Unique and special.

Everything. This property is perfection. I loved the location, the surroundings, the bed, the shower, the bath & the owners. There is not a thing I could say that is wrong with this. Perfect break away from the city. Incredibly peaceful.

It was secluded, peaceful and quiet. It was beautiful look out at the view of the orchard even from the bedroom. The hut was tidy, cosy and had all we needed.

“Wow - what a find!”
Beautiful place, location was stunning looking out into the apple orchard. Loved the outdoor seating area with BBQ, kitchen. Outdoor bath and shower was great. Just a really cool place to stay!

Freefall had so much atmosphere, very quaint and rustic. The location was very private and calming in a lovely environment. Each area of the accommodation was beautifully and naturally decorated and the garden amongst the huts were beautiful.
