Set on the east coast of New Zealand's north island, Cumberland Court Motel offers spacious luxury suites just 1 km from Hastings. Each suite offers a spa bath and a fully equipped kitchenette. “Disappointing”
Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing and did not meet expectations. The constant traffic noise made it very difficult to relax or sleep properly, and we also found ants around the bed, which was really unpleasant. Customer service throughout the stay was poor, and the standard of servicing when the room was made after our first night was below average. Dishes had been washed but simply left to drip dry, which felt untidy and unfinished. The room itself was also lacking some basic conveniences — there was no extractor fan in the bathroom, the TV system was difficult to use, and the phone in the room didn’t work at all. Overall, the experience did not feel worth the cost, and we left quite disappointed.

“Fantastic room layout and a bit of luxury”
Main appeal was the spa bath. The room layout worked perfectly as we could book one room that had a seperate bedroom and bed in the lounge which worked perfect for two people who needed seperate sleeping spaces. Good selection of tea and coffee, comfortable beds
