Ponciana is an AA Superior Quality Assured Luxury Guesthouse and is situated in Ifafi on the top of the hill which gives us a magnificent view over the Hartbeespoortdam surrounded by the Magalies Mountain Range. Our motto is : Ponciana Guesthouse is Hartbeespoortdam at its best and hospitality at its warmest. We hosts our guest in Afrikaans, English, Dutch, French and German. The 3 spacious en-suite rooms and 3 suites are the combination of the African feeling with high European luxury standards. Belgian hospitality combined with a delicious buffet breakfast in the morning enjoying a fantastic view from the breakfast area. Personal service and luxury facilities makes Ponciana Guesthouse the place to stay. Enjoy the big swimming pool in a lovely garden. Relaxing in the patio-lounge or in the Highlander bar with pool table, darts and board games are the ingredients for a perfect holiday or break away. Only 1 hour from Johannesburg OR Tambo, 25 km from Pretoria and very close to Brits Industrial, Pelindaba, Gerotec Test Circuit, Rosslyn and Lanseria Airport Ponciana Guesthouse is perfectly located for tourists and business people. Sun City and Pilanesberg National Park with the Big 5 are only at 1 hour drive and there are a lot of things to do in and around the Magalies Mountains and Hartbeespoortdam. Our own travel agency desk Pongoa Travel also arrange all kind of day trips in the area such as Big 5 safari's and adventure trips. Ronny is a qualified national guide for South Africa.

The breakfast was exceptional, the food was nice, the staff was very friendly and kind. I would recommend this place to anyone. I also loved the fact that food was freshly baked by our lovely host Mr Bauke and served as a buffet.

This place is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views. It is in a quiet neighborhood and very clean. The staff goes over and above to make one's stay comfortable. The linen is top quality and there were generous-sized shower gel and shampoo. Their breakfast was amazing, one can eat to their satisfaction. I love that the owners put a personal touch to everything. I will say with confidence, this is home away from home.

Breakfast first day it was 100%but the next day it was same thing again and the juice tested like they added water on it ,to accommodate my family of 10 guest

“I will never use this place again. False advertising and not 4star quality”
The breakfast was the same everyday. Not a good variety or choices. Also food was limited. I was told I am only allowed to take 1 croissant and you only get 2 small strips of bacon. So we decided to go and eat breakfast at other places as this was not my standard of breakfast for a 4 star place. The place advertised a bar and a jacuzzi but we were not allowed to use the jacuzzi. The bar had no drinks and the glasses was full of dust. You cant order anything to drink. You must go and buy your own drinks. Which was not what I wanted to do. I wanted to relax at the bar in the afternoon and ordering drinks. The swimming pool was extremely slippery. Overall I had no good impression of this place and is totally over rated. You cant advertise things on a web site and then as a customer you can not use what is advertised.
