“Beautiful Scenery”
Loved the location and that there were enough beds to accommodate all our friends. There was a cozy fireplace stocked with wood. The beds were comfortable and the hike up the mountain was challenging but lots of fun!

We stayed at the fishing cottage close to the reserve and the farm house on the reserve. Both had lovely peaceful settings. The staff were super and extremely helpful and friendly.

“My family lives were at stake, kids found live ammunition at the property, scary, unsafe place.”
This place is scary and unsafe. very dirty (beddings, bathrooms), unmaintained and smells really bad. It is not family friendly and is more of a hunting place than a game reserve. The reality of the accommodation is miles apart from the pictures they show - really shocking. We found live ammunition in the cupboards which was the tipping point for us. We drove 400km and had to find alternate accommodation. Despite this horrible situation, the owners refuse to refund us.

“Delightful and unique holiday”
Extremely delightful holiday with family. The lodging was beautiful and well maintained. The staff was incredibly helpful. Highly recommend for a unique experience- it truly felt like we were in another country- safe and isolated- enjoyed the privacy and peaceful atmosphere!

The manageress, Nicole, was absolutely amazing. The cottage we had was so beautiful and catered for our every need. The views were exquisite. We got to hike on the most amazing trails and connect with horses along the way. Just wonderful!
