The African Sky Harrismith Inn is located just off the N3 highway, halfway between Johannesburg and Durban, and enjoys superb views of Platberg Mountain, Free State province’s majestic “flat mountain”. The large, en suite rooms, on 2 floors, surround the swimming pool, so you are never far from a cooling splash when the temperature rises. In the evenings, you can enjoy a drink at the African Sky Harrismith Inn’s bar, a popular after-dinner meeting spot. Harrismith is a delightful town, with several handsome churches and public buildings. The Platberg is the location for the annual Berg Marathon, one of the most prestigious cross-country running events in Southern Africa. This was our second time staying there and once again, it didn't disappoint. Both the gentlemen at the reception and the dining area were incredibly friendly and and welcoming. Loved the spacious room and great shower. The breakfast was perfect 👌

The bedding was comfortable and clean. The room not small and the bathroom exceptionally clean. The breakfast did not have a great variety, but was tastety.
