Well appointed rooms in a smart building. Location good in a very pretty small town with nice walks to the river (and potentially beyond) Location right on the Saale Radweg - good bicycle storage too Staff were welcoming and helpful Evening meal (outside in the beer garden) was tasty and good value Breakfast was good

When we are told in writing that the restaurant serves dinner from 18-22, it can not be closed bc out of season!!

Everything was very pleasant. The family running the accommodation are lovely, including the (?)teenage children who served some of the meals in the evening. I was very hungry on my last day hiking the Rennsteig as I hadn't had any breakfast or lunch and had walked over 30km (nearly every place serving food was closed en route. Crazy)! So I probably ordered enough for two people. The room was comfortable and the Wifi actually worked! Such a pleasant surprise after basically having no functioning internet at any of the hotels or pensions I stayed at throughout my 8 day Rennsteig hike. The accommodation is easy to find and located not too far away from the town centre. Definitely a good option!
