Overview
Located amongst red dunes and green areas on the edge of the Southern Kalahari, the Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch offers elegant units and a swimming pool. It also has a restaurant and a bar. Decorated with wooden furniture, the chalets and rooms of Bagatelle Kalahari have air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. The chalets offer panoramic views over the dunes and the rooms have private gardens. The restaurant serves Namibian specialities and has a cellar with a wide range of South African wines. Breakfast and packed lunches are also offered. Guests can enjoy the recreational area with a pool table and some hammocks. A nature drive is organized by the property to show the biological diversity of the area. A small library is available as well. The village of Mariental is 48 km away. The Hardap National Park is 50 km away. Free parking is offered by the property.

“One of the best places around Namibia, if you wanna feel the real african deal.”
I always spend my last few nights at Bagatelle Kalahari. It is fairly close to the airport (if you take the back road), has everything you need to feel the real african vibe. From Rhinos to meerkats, from red kalahari roads to green grass in contrast. Food is way above average, delicious.

Dinner/Barbecue was incredible! There was also complementary coffee and cafe every day which was very good. Pool area and staff was very friendly.

Absolutely everything. Welcome drink and refresher towels, the cheetah experience and sundowner drive, dinner, breakfast, pool, staff...... We returned after 9 years because we loved it so much the first time..... And now it's BETTER!!!!! A destination. Stay 2 nights

“Wonderful”
The main building is stunning, and so are the rooms, amazing with a view on the wilderness, we had a rhino outside our room in the evening. Excellent activities, we did the scenic drive at sunset, wonderful experience, we saw lots of animals, and the Kalahari desert is stunning.

“Peacefully quiet”
An amazing location, with great views of red dunes from our chalet. Peacefully quiet and remote. Very comfortable bed, and friendly staff. Made a good effort with special meal requirements/requests. Loved being able to get up close to rhino during the rhino feeding drive.

Very beautiful location, suitable to rest a few days after flying in to Windhoek. Nice pool area, with animals around. We also did the tour offered which was very fun and insightful, we really had great time :)

“The most fabulous place to visit”
Such a beautiful fabulous place to visit, wish we could have stayed longer. Lovely staff, wonderful views over the waterhole. Animals all over the place and an amazing chef 👩🍳 Guides were knowledgeable, passionate and friendly.
