“Greenfields”
Needs updating rooms and facilites to new standards, outside room we used, toilet needs a door for pricacy. No hot water so we left only face wash. Basically its a very old house which needs redoing everything to today standards. Staff very polite and helpful. Breakfast 2 slices limit, very thin smallest sausages. No kettle in rooms either, my husband drinks lots of tea sadly had to drink juice instead. Old advert photo on booking.com which mislead people.

“This place needs a total overhaul.”
The breakfast was not okay. The utensils were old and not squeaky clean. The actual food was okay but the other facilities such as the breakfast table, seat and general setting were not amusing. This property should not be used as a hotel or lodge. It just doesn't meet the minimum standards.

“Overall a cold and uncomfortable stay”
The reception was beyond poor. The lady did not even greet us and was not welcoming as she made no effort to guide us through the check in process until we asked. Further, we had made an additional booking the previous day on Booking.com which was confirmed with a ref number and PIN and came with an endorsement that payment could be made when on site. However, on arrival we were told that the confirmation was a mistake as they were fully booked. We had to find alternative accommodations for the lady on our team at 6pm. No effort made to try and rectify or any offer of compensation for the inconvenience.

Never ate breakfast because the night of our stay the staff where cooking meat that smelt funny in pots next to our room, they left the meat to burn un attended smoking out our rooms. i really cant call this a guest house it was an unpleasant stay and not recommend this at all!!!
