“Excellent customer service”

We had a wonderful stay at Mist Holiday Bungalow in Haputale while hiking Pekoe Trail Stage 12. After a long day on the trail, this guesthouse was the perfect place to relax and recover. The hospitality and service were exceptional from the moment we arrived. The hosts were incredibly warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They made us feel completely at home and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The room was clean, cozy, and offered beautiful views of the surrounding hills and misty scenery that Haputale is famous for. The peaceful atmosphere made it an ideal stop for hikers and travelers looking to unwind. The food was fresh and delicious, and the overall experience felt very personal and welcoming. We highly recommend Mist Holiday Bungalow to anyone doing the Pekoe Trail or visiting Haputale. Excellent service, great hospitality, and a memorable stay!

The hotel is in an amazing location, short walk from the station and town and a stunning view off the hillside. It is literally hanging off. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Overall we had a nice stay and would recommend. It is fair for the price.

“cosy guesthouse, good food, friendly and helpful family”

This guesthouse is located within the city centre and opposite the railway station. There are a number of eateries and shops within walking distance to cater to your needs. In fact, the most convenient way to have breakfast, lunch or dinner is right at the restaurant within the guesthouse. It has affordable prices, freshly prepared good food and drinks as well as sitting areas on the balcony and terrace. We enjoyed a warm welcome and a quick check-in. The complementary tea was great to warn us up during the grey and wet weather. The family was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well maintained. Hot water was provided instantly and safely.

thank you very much for a wonderful stay, which was one of the best in Sri Lanka. we had a spacious room with a living room and a terrace with the best view. there are lots of hiking trips to tea plantations and a tea factory within walking distance. Ella is accessible by train but Haputale is a much quieter, more picturesque place. The food was absolutely great and we were treated like part of the family the whole stay, our children wanted to stay the whole holiday 🙂 thank you very much and hopefully we will come back someday.

A very comfortable family-run B&B. While initially found it a bit hard to locate, we later realized it is situated in a very accessible location just minutes from town center. Absolutely love the view from the place!

“Lovely and and cozy place to stay in Haputale town”

The room is exactly as in photos, they have a lovely terrace with very very good view, place is in city center but a little bit hidden from main road. It is family owned place and we god all the good service and attention you may expect. Owner have lots of good information and tips about what to visiti arround and he explained about possibilities to use public transport to get to key spots which google didn't even know about. Overall, I recommend this place!

Really nice guesthouse! Lovely hosts and really cool vibe in the house. Meeting other travelers here is really easy. I really liked my room, it was exactly like shown in the pictures. And the views are spectacular!

The staff are really helpful and they can meet all your needs (for food, walking guides, transport options etc.). The place has a good atmosphere (and on-site massage options). We arrived on a cold, misty day but inside it felt warm

Family-owned place with an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff truly go above and beyond: always kind, helpful and attentive. I was offered free tea every time I came back from an activity, which was such a lovely touch. They helped me multiple times with transportation and had knowledge of bus/train schedules. I felt very safe here, especially compared to the general atmosphere in Haputale. The private room was clean and had a beautiful view. There is an on-site restaurant and the food is freshly made and delicious!

The owners were so nice and had great and cheap food! The lady whos cooking is so sweet. Also they can fulfil you any wish like takeaway breakfast (western or sri lankan) for Sunset and any tour you d wish to do. Also you can rent a scooter there

The room had a beautiful view over the hills. The staff was incredibly helpful and arranged for me the hiking to Kirigalpotta and recommended other hikes to do locally. The food was delicious. I also booked a massage and the massage therapist was very good. I highly recommend to stay at this place!
