“Really lovely setting”
Stunning property set up in the hills of Haputale . The scenery was breathtaking. Accommodation was half board and the food was really lovely . The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, especially Gihan and Kalum . They couldn't do enough to make our stay as Comfortable as possible .

“Second time at The Capoe House and it won't be our last!”
This was our second time staying at the Capoe House and it was just as magical the second time. We spent time relaxing, enjoying the views and feeling very spoilt by the staff who were so helpful. Dinner was absolutely flawless each night that we were there, especially the Sri Lankan dinner. The black pork curry was second to none.

A truly heavenly place. High up in the mountains. Surrounded by greenery, monkeys roaming around, peacocks flying. An excellent place for a quiet and relaxing vacation.

“Capoe House stay”
The property is very new. The views are stunning and great for wildlife sightings - we saw a pair of black eagles and even saw a peacock dancing for its mate. The plunge pool in Adisham suite was a nice refresher after a hot day. The staff are lovely and helpful and couldn't do do more for you. The Sri Lankan dinner was outstanding.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Stylish quality clean accommodation. Staff a level above expected. Views from accommodation and dining terrace were wonderful. Local walk to waterfall and swim there should not be missed. Walk to Alien Rock also fabulous if you like walking. Food also very good.

This is a truly wonderful place - the staff are so knowledgeable and helpful and made our visit truly amazing! From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and taken care of. We can’t thank them enough - and on top of this the hotel is also gorgeous - fab decor and lovely vibes :-)

“Amazing 3 Nights in the Misty Forrest”
We stayed at The Capoe House on the second leg of our Honeymoon in Sri Lanka. Everything was impeccable. They helped arrange our transfer from Colombo to Haputale. Communication was always clear and timely. More of a 5 star experience The views. The service. The staff. The food. Kiru the manager was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the hotel so much we didn't want to leave. It felt like a home away from home.

“Amazing stay”
A breathtaking view. We spent such a peaceful stay, no noise, only the sounds of nature. What made our stay truly wonderful was the kind staff. Thank you to Kirou, Dishan and the whole team. The chef’s cuisine was excellent ! Everything was beautiful and the décor was tasteful. We were truly pampered. It’s a boutique hotel, so it feels very exclusive, with only a few guests. We loved the walk with Kirou to the magnificent waterfall, just a 15 minute walk away. My daughter was constantly following the staff. It shows how much she was pampered, children always know who the good people are. Thank you, we will miss you !

“The perfect set up for the perfect, serene view of the Senghalese mountain jungle”
The property is superbly located in a perfect, very remote place, in the mountains, the middle of a tea plantation, surrounded by jungle. The view is stunning.

Very secluded and very well built accommodation. The staff were super friendly and helpful, always available to assist with anything we needed. The accommodation is very difficult to get to if in a car - so if you take the property's jeep (pickup truck) it's a better option. The views from the property are stunning, I hope the new development they are planning will not interupt the current views. Highly recommended for a peaceful get away
