The buffet breakfast had the usual choices of hot and cold food. Plenty of fresh bread, tea, coffee and juices. Reception staff were helpful. We had a problem with our room and it was sorted straight away by reception.

Love Haparanda and the hotel is a gem. Would have been lovely with some home made bread fr brekfast for example from one of the bakeries in the area?

“Best place to stay and dininng in Haparanda”
Excellent old, historic hotel with fin de siecle charm. Strongly recommend for all who plan to stay at Haparanda. Best in class dinner served in hotel restaurant and friendly service both at the reception desk and the restaurant. Rich breakfast buffet is a fine begining of next day during the trip.

The hotel was clean and conformable with spacious rooms and an excellent breakfast. The hotel was ornately built in 1900, during Haparanda's most prosperous period. The hotel features many antiques and museum like features throughout. The wide selection of gluten free options at breakfast. Adding, oat milk at breakfast could cover all possible dietary requirements.

A very nice and clean hotel with polite staff. The dinner—Arctic char—was excellent as well.
