Kind host, comfortable room, good breakfast, and excellent location. Especially glad we got the room with the en suite bathroom.

Very unique and beautiful old property with great history. Chris, the host was very welcoming and gave me a lovely run down of the history and some places to visit in Hannibal. Really comfy bed and nice cooling system, which was perfect as it was really hot outside.

Stay away this guy is a shister. We booked our stay over a month ago and one hour before we got there on the day of our stay he called and told us that he overlooked our booking and booked someone else after in our room and gave the room to them. What kind of thinking is this. Anyway when we got there to confront him we walked into the place and the place looked gross and smelled like dirty cats. Not clean at all. So this was a blessing that he over looked our stay. No recommended.

I loved the music playing in the foyer- added to the antique ambience. Enjoyed the intimate company and conversation at breakfast. Chocolates on the bed and water were a pleasant surprise and treat. Loved the animal-friendly policy and inclusiveness to fury family guests.

“Terrible experience 😩”

We can not say anything good about this property as although we were charged the full amount to stay here there was no one to greet us when we arrived at 4.10pm. We had driven over 8 hours and could not call them due to our phone coverage we organised when we arrived from Australia. He did not respond to messages and the sign of under reconstruction and the cobwebs and cats everywhere gave us the impression that there was no accommodation available. We have asked to be refunded but this has been denied. We wouldn’t want this to happen to anyone else booking this accommodation.

We loved the cats, but would recommend disclosure at booking, as some are allergic or just don't like cats. Sad.

Historic Villa provided by very nice owner. Clean, comfotable, good breakfast, interesting talks during beakfast. Highlly advised in Hannibal.

Breakfast was excellent as usual. Chris is a marvelous host. The b and b is one block from an excellent restaurant called LaBinnah Bistro, which has never disappointed me. I always stay at the Garden House and eat at LaBinnah Bistro on my trips through Hannibal.
