“Value for money, but room for improvement”

I liked that I could park really close to the cabin I stayed in. The communual space was warm and comfortable. It was exciting to realize I was the only guest in the entire compound. Loved the peace and quiet of the place.

“Beaut budget stay”

We always enjoy staying at the Hanmer Forest Park. There's always a warm welcome from the friendly, helpful staff. The facilities are clean and it's a great budget option. The grounds are are joy, right in the forest, surrounded by numerous walking and mountain biking tracks and trails. Wake to a beautiful dawn chorus.

Nice cabin, short distance from shared bathroom and kitchen. Good location if you have a car for hiking in the region.

“We checked out early”

The water was smelly in the showers. Rooms smelt bad, and also noisy and bright with lights fr outside.

Very basic with beautiful surroundings. Great for mountain biking. Shared bathroom and showers were awesome

“One nighter”

Only stayed 1 night and booked the cheap accommodation. It was clean and cozy. Small room and nothing flash but it did the job. Beds where good for the night. Heater in the room took a few brain cells but I eventually got it to work and stayed on all night. Kitchen well equipped. Bathroom/showers clean. Staff where great and got back to me either straight away or within a decent time frame. I (or should I say my son) left his jersey. Staff contacted me and we've made a plan for delivery. Thumbs 👍 to Staff. I'd definitely go back.

I liked the atmosphere of the forest camp. Simple and frills, but well presented with all the facilities required.

Perfect for a night away or longer. Room has EVERYTHING you need. We have stayed on numerous occasions and it is always very clean. Staff are friendly & helpful. Grounds are well kept. We will definitely be back.
