The location and quality of the accommodation

The owner checked prior to my arrival if I had any dietary requirements for the Continental Breakfast and also greeted on arrival at the property. The property provided towels for use at Hanmer Springs.

“Relaxing, quiet and top notch”

Lovely stay, so quiet and away from the busy town centre, especially since it was school holidays. We were able to safely store our bikes when not in use.

Jared the proprietor met us on arrival which was very welcoming. Explained the use of everything that was in anyway different. The property presentation was outstanding. The views from the Property were breathtaking. Wonderful place to stay. 10/10 is a realistic score

“Superb accommodation in a beautiful setting”

Great reception from owner Jared on arrival. The property is in a beautiful, quiet setting with amazing mountain views and a sunny deck to enjoy them from. The decor is tasteful ‘high country farm’ style and every amenity is provided, including a generous continental breakfast, biscuits and quality toiletries. As well as bathroom towels, towels for Hanmer Springs are provided. The room is spacious and the bed very comfortable. We had an extremely enjoyable stay and would definitely stay again.

Wonderful location,super helpful owner,great room,well thoughtout.Breakfast provided was great. Extra thoughtful things provided like a bag to take swimwear and towels to the pools,paracetmol for headaches.

Absolutely beautiful rooms and views! Felt very luxurious, the rooms have been greatly finished with furniture that complements the rooms and exterior surroundings. We loved it so much we cancelled our next accommodation and stayed there again! The bigger room is definitely worth the upgrade but we stayed in both and loved both. Pretty good little breakfast included as well. Jared also gave us some good recommendations for local hikes which was great!

My husband and I loved our stay at Hanmer High Country views. It is such a peaceful location with most amazing views of the mountains from your own private terrace. Jared is a very personable, genuine and caring host who made us feel at home on his beautiful property. The large room with kitchenette is very well appointed with coffee, tea and breakfast provisions included, making for relaxing mornings before heading out for a day of exploring. Jared is the perfect host and I highly recommend a stay at Hanmer High Country Views.

“Beauty everywhere you look!!!”

The location a little bit outside of the town was so quiet and so beautiful. The house is surrounded by a 360 view of the mountains. When you open the curtains in the morning or sitting outside on your own terras you see the best the world has to offer right at your doorstep. The accommodation feels bright new and everything is in so clean and good quality materials are used. The bed is wonderfull! The fridge is filled with delicious things to have breakfast in your own bubble on the terrace. After just two days of hiking, a bit of shopping and going to the hot springs we felt so relaxt. I think this was one of our best stays during our trip through New Zealand.

Beautiful place to stay, the grounds were immaculate, the room was very spacious with everything we needed plus more. The bed was very comfy and the continental breakfast was lovely. Located not too far from Hanmer township but felt like you were in your own wee slice of paradise. So peaceful and quiet. We even got to see the stunning aurora. Would definitely return here again.

The room absolutely exceeded our expectations, it was clean, luxurious and we found the breakfast so generous. The heated floor was also an added bonus! Meant we could dry our wet clothes getting caught in the rain so quickly. I’d recommend anyone to come here! The view was insane to wake up to, we adored it.
