“GOOD”
Service were great. They would love to help you when you ask them questions. Landry mechine only have Chinese, so if you want to wash your clothes, ask staff for help. Location was great, Close to everything.

“Cheap, but a bit dirty”
It was a fine stay, just not clean. The sink and bathroom was filled with hairs, as the floors under the beds. For me this was disgusting, but for this money it was okay. I would suggest a hotel though.

The view is great; you can see the whole city. The staff told me this is the old town, so there aren’t many tall buildings. However, I find it quite different. Asia is indeed different from Europe. There are many people everywhere, and there's a lot of food everywhere. I tried some, and it’s completely different from Chinese food in the UK. There’s a HALAL noodle shop downstairs, which I really like, and it’s very cheap. If you need to exchange some RMB, you can find a bank within a few minutes’ walk. You can also use Alipay; it seems that for small amounts, there are no extra fees, but for amounts over a few hundred RMB, there is an additional charge. So, you can try making small payments each time.

“Great hostel let down by poor cleaning and inconsiderate room mates”
Staff friendly and efficient and try their best to make your stay great. WiFi ok. No mixed dorms may be a problem for couples. Easy check-in and out and with flexible hours which is great for trains or planes arriving late, a common occurrence.

Friendly staff, good location, nice view on 19th floor, huge common area, drinking water provided. Lots of eatery just on the same street. Overall very comfortable stay.
