“Beautifully Designed”
Formeet is an outstanding and astounding piece of design. It is truly beautiful. It has been designed by Wang Hai Bo, professor of Design, at the Academy of Fine Arts of Hangzhou. What Wang Hai Bo designs is music, is poetry, is emotion. Formeet is no usual hotel. It is a place of inspiration, for the mind and for the soul. Connie, the housekeeper, represents the custodian of the fire of inspiration.

“Very nice place”
Connie is a wonderful host. She has been always adorable and helped us in one million ways. The site is perfectly placed for visiting the lake area, the tea plantations, and the temples. The area is very nce.

“amazing. must stay if coming to hangzhou”
the rooms were clean and many additional things were provided. connie was amazing and she brought us tea and snacks before bed. she went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. gave us many great recommendations. i will be back for sure just to see connie again. the property was beautiful, it’s award winning

We have very much enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back again! We picked this hotel because the building has a wonderful location between of the West Lake and the Linying Temple, but the stay went way beyond our expectation and added greatly to our time in Hangzhou. The room was very nice and artistically decorated. The host did an amazing job providing us with helpful information, delicious local breakfast, fresh fruits during day, and thoughtful souvenir during the traditional Chinese holiday.

Fantastic retreat away from urban life to recharge and rejuvenate. Surrounded by lots of greens and fresh air. Very hospitable, friendly and helpful host who always take the extra steps to make sure we feel like home. Breakfast was sumptuous. Host was very accommodating to tailor to our dietary needs 👍

I love all of the hostel! Location is great, you can walk to the temples or the lake. They provide many different kinds of food for Breakfast. Guest room is pretty big and cozy, and the view is good. Host is very sweet, she’s got every information you need in Hangzhou and would give you a detailed introduction. I like her voice that makes me at ease. Definitely recommend it.

“Amazing, honest, local, qualitative, revitalising”
Super amazing stay here! Felt like we were staying at someone’s home and cared for very kindly! The location was great, walks in the neighbourhood brought us to wonderful nature. Lovely staff, local breakfast, the teas in the tea room were great as well! Fresh fruit at night! Hangzhou is a great place especially the nature outdoors! Seems like a fake review, but everything was excellent. Many thanks, we will be back.
