“You get what you pay for”
Good location within walking distance of Hanga Roa beaches, restaurants, main street. Wi-Fi/Internet was only in the common area, but that was expected and it was performing well.

“It was barely good enough as a budget stay for three nights. Passable but would not recommend.”
The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great. The main lobby area and deck is comfortable and the wifi works fairly well there (and only there, not in the rooms). The airport transfer service was nice. The breakfast was... mediocre but ok.

“Only stay here if no other options”
The location and the view. The fridge was useful as there was no water available. Transfers from airport worked well and tours started from our hotel and were really good.

“For visiting Rapa Nui, Hotel Tupa is a good place to be based. It just needs a little updating in the bedroom.”
The Tupa Hotel is in an excellent location near the harbour, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Location was good, close to the beach and town centre. Staff were friendly and helpful though not everyone spoke English.

“Save the time and money and don’t book here”
We didn’t stay in the property, we arrived and checked in and found mould in the room, the sliding doors to outside wouldn’t lock so didn’t feel safe/secure so we left and booked somewhere else straight away

Not enough for breakfast given the number of guests. Was given a terrible room, not the one I booked, it was fixed only after a number of complaints. Some people were able to check-in when they arrived, others had to wait a long time. The shower was a problem, it was either extremely hot or cold.

“Nice hotel”
Very nice hotel for this price class. The staff was friendly and helpful. I made a mistake with the date of the booking and they fixed it, for which I am really greatful. Can recommend!
