Feder is such a nice person, give me free ride for picking up me from previous hostal ( I have to change the hostal due to some reasons) and ride to airport, and also one time I walk back to Rangi Moana and get a bit lost way, he quickly response me and drive the car to find me. Luckily, we meet in a street very soon. Then I am thinking of renting a motorcycle to see the sunset , he just say come come and he gives me another free ride , and said when I finished just send him another message and he will pick up me. Such a nice person! Feder and hotel other people are really nice also always with a smile in their face, a detail is that, when I hold in my hand an instant noodle, before I said anything Feder go to help me boil a water! And before I leave go to the airport, he gives me a gift,super cute! WiFi here only work in the kitchen area shared space but not a problem to me at all because everyday finish the tour I am exhausted. I highly recommended this place, even it is not in the centre of the town, it has advantage of quiet, and most important, people here are amazing!

The best for the whole stay were the people we have met! Starting with an incredibly welcoming owner Margquitos, our very knowledgeable and thoughtful guide Annette Rapu and finishing with accommodating Luis. Seriously, if you are looking for the guide Annette is the best you can get on the island!! She’s the owner’s sister and you can ask for her contact when booking hotel. We rented one of hotel’s cars which made transportation on the island very easy. The cabin looks exactly like on the pictures. The kitchen has all necessary equipment- pots, dishes, microwave and kettle, though we didn’t really cook. Towels were big and freshly washed. No soap and shampoo in the bathroom, so had to purchase some. Kids loved their beds (they slept on the bottom of bunk beds). Queen bed was also very comfortable. The pool looked inviting but we didn’t have enough time to actually enjoy it.

Very friendly staff, who picked me up from the airport. Arranged a tour that arrived 20 minutes after I enquired and took a detour to the post office for me on the way back to the airport.

Our stay at Rangi Moana on Rapa Nui was fantastic from start to finish. The booking process was easy and straightforward, and we paid in cash on arrival. One of the owners picked us up from the airport—this was included in the price—and we were warmly welcomed with traditional flower necklaces, which was such a lovely touch. Before settling in, we were given a quick tour of the island to point out all the essentials like mini markets, beaches, ticket booths, and ATMs, which was incredibly helpful. Communication was great both before and during our stay, and we always felt supported. The grounds of Rangi Moana are beautiful and peaceful, with a few friendly dogs that added to the charm. We loved spending time in the outdoor pool—it was a really fun way to cool off! Our cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including a kitchen with a fridge and gas hob. As a group of three young women traveling together, we really appreciated how safe and cared for we felt. The owners were welcoming, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. On our departure, they even gave us a thoughtful souvenir to remember our stay.

“A quirky little cabin stay on the edge of town”

A quirky little cabin stay on the edge of town. The room was adequate size, the bathroom was modern and clean. A bit of a walk - 20 minutes - from town but it was a nice, safe walk along the pavement.. back was uphill! Reception staff were amazingly helpful even with the language barrier. I was picked up and dropped off at the airport as part of the stay. I was able to rent a car through the lodge before I arrived. All in all a comfortable stay.

Great staff, enjoyed the pool as it can get hot, very relaxing. You may want to rent a car or take taxis as it is a longer walk into the center.

“Lovely if a little out of town”

Rangi Moana is lovely. The cottages and pods are well spaced out with gardens all around. The pool is a bit old but still nice and the communal area is a nice place to sit. It is a very peaceful place to stay. There is a small but reasonably well stocked supermarket 5 minutes walk away. The host provided an airport transfer both ways. Tour companies picked us up from the end of the lane just a few minutes walk away. We liked Rangi Moana very much, despite the distance from town.

Very welcoming, helpful, and friendly staff! The transfer from and to the airport was great! On arrival, you get a flower garland around your neck. Also, I got a city tour from the guys, and they stopped at the tourist office for me to buy the national park ticket (didn't buy that online). They did very well! The accommodation is located in a nice and quiet area (surrounded by nature). The room was clean. I enjoyed my stay and I would recommend this accommodation to other travelers!

The property itself is excellent. However it desperately needs air con as u cook inside the pods. The fan was almost non existent in the brutal heat. The staff were excellent but u need translation as English is not spoken. Pick up and drop off to the airport was very welcome. If u want to be close to the action tho, it’s not for you. Half hour walk to town in the heat isn’t doable. You need a car or scooter. It’s off the beaten track. The pool is a bonus but if ur in Easter island surely u won’t be laying around a pool at any time

Everything was perfect except for the air-conditioning wasn't so comprehensive

Luis is gold for this place. It´s a nice gem outside Hanga Roa - so be prepared to walk or get your transport. Huts are simple but nice and working!

“Very nice place to stay”

I really enjoyed my stay in Rangi Moana. The staff was very friendly and helpful, transfer from and to the airport was great. Room was very clean, area is quiet and calm. If you need to buy some water, food etc. it's very close to the store. It's around 25 min. of walk to the city, but it's a nice walk, especially after a big meal 😄 By taxi around 5 min. I wish to stay there bit longer.

The staff was amazing! So welcoming and kind. The location is a bit out of town but nice surrounding and easy to get around with taxi or car/scooter. Starlink but only by the office (not in rooms). Overall would recommend!
