“Lovely countryside cabana for a great chill”

Beautiful countryside cabana outside of Hanga Roa with a very nice terrace and garden. Lots of chicken running around (and yes, plenty of roosters waking you up :-) and other birds. The terrace has a light so you can also chill after dark sipping a tasty Chilean wine listening to the crickets or have your food, because the canaba also has a kitchen available. You have view to the Ahu Hanga Kioe in the distance adding to the Rapa Nui vibe. It's a wonderful walk along the coastline, passing some fantastic moais, to the town of Hanga Roa. Rosi is a truly warm-hearted, lovely and friendly host taking all possible care of you. She is also related to some of the isles best guides and can give you plenty of good tips. It is like you are visiting a close friend or a dear relative. If you're looking for a chill place: this is it!

Rosi was super nice to me. I stayed there for 3 nights and the cabana has literally become my house, it was very cozy and clean, right by the beach. There are even horses in the surroundings very cute. On the very first day Rosi took me to the supermarket to get supplies, exchange currencies and took me around town. She also arranged tours to guests. I enjoyed Rapa Nui a lot and will definitely come back to the cabana.

A lovely stay on Easter Island. The cabana is located on the outskirts of Hanga Roa, surrounded by plants and with a beautiful view. From the deck you can even see Hanga Kioe, and it’s only about a 15-minute walk to Ahu Tahai. Our host, Rosi, was wonderful, very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She replied to all our questions quickly, organised a scooter for us, and shared recommendations for nearby restaurants and sights. The cabana is cute and well equipped and had everything we needed, even basics like salt and oil. Rosi really went above and beyond - after dropping us at the airport she even drove back to the cabana to pick up my forgotten sunglasses and brought them to me. A very comfortable, private and welcoming place to stay. Highly recommended! 😊

“An excellent place to stay.”

This is an excellent place to stay. It's comfortable, clean and has everything you need. It is very peaceful, within walking distance of Hanga Roa and the view, especially of the sunsets, is spectacular. Rosi was so helpful with arranging airport transfer, providing information about bike hire and for arranging for her son, Neo, to be our guide. Thank you Rosi for a great stay.

“A Little Taste of Paradise.”

I loved staying at this cabana. Loved sitting on the verandah looking out at the ocean and the moai watching over. Basic but clean and happy. Enough there to make simple meals. Rosie is a wonderful host and I really loved that we went to the Tapati festival together a number of times. Made my stay so much more inclusive. Her dad does a great tour of the island and also her son does tours which i enjoyed. Really need a car although if you walk well that is also possible.

You can literally see the moai from the terrace!!!!! I saw a birdman at night too. Cool horses eating grass next to the fence

Quiet place yet walking distance to the town. Beautiful sunset view. Great host who helped us arrange a guide, bicycles, scooter… Very helpful.

“Tranquil slice of paradise with beautiful views”

Rosi was a wonderful host and was eager to help my husband and I with anything - organising an airport transfer and even drying our clothes when we got soaked in the rain! Her bungalow had all the facilities we needed, and was the perfect place to unwind looking out over the sea after a long day exploring the island. If we travel this way again, we'd definitely want to stay again!

“Disapointed - didn't match what we expected from the ad”

It's a pretty place (but so is the whole island). Cleaning person goes every morning. Quite far away from the rest of the city. Great for the view, but you will need to rent a car to get there.

“8 days in Heaven. Rent this house !”

I stayed 8 days, perfect to discover the island. The house is great, large, clean, well equipped, The view is amazing, you see and hear the ocean, Rosi, the host, is the best I ever met (though I travel a lot), she is here to help find anything (a car, a restaurant, a guide…), she knows everyone! I stayed in the large house. The smaller one is also very cute and well equiped. You don’t see the other hosts from the houses, which are really well separated and independant. The houses are close to the city (5mn by car) but far enough to be quiet and enjoy nature. Wild horses and chicken are not far ! These 8 days were wonderful. You can go!

“Fantastic place to spend your time on Easter Island!”

Quite a lot! The location is just outside the center. It requires a very nice walk along the coast passing by the moais. The house is very comfortable, spacious, with a nice terrace, a garden and some nice animals around, such as horses. And lastly, Rosy is a great landlord, who’s doing her utmost to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

“A beautiful place to enjoy the view of the ocean”

Beautiful location, very comfortable and cozy bungalow with all the necessary amenities, close to town yet quiet and secluded. Great landscaping with a stone rimmed fire place. We particularly enjoyed the view of the ocean from the bedroom. For those who need it - there is Starlink internet connection, so even the wifi is great Rosi, the host, is absolutely wonderful.

“Absolutely perfekt stay.”

What a beautiful place! I whish I could have stayed longer. It's absolutely quiet and the only neighbour's seems to be the horses - but not too far to walk into to the town. Great sunset view every evening. The owner Rosie is so nice and very helpful and speaks really good English. I would recommend this place for everyone who likes to calme down and enjoy Rapa Nui.

The caban is very beautiful and quiet. We loved the location, near Hanga Roa but in a quiet place with amazing view. The porch is lovely, great having breakfast there every morning. We were very well welcomed by Rosi and her son. Amazing stay!
