“Great value for money”

Very budget-friendly and great value for money compared to other accommodations nearby. The host is incredibly friendly, and both the guests and the pets here create a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent if you’re looking for a more peaceful and relaxing stay, as it’s right by the shoreline and within easy walking distance of Ahu Tahai for sunset. There are also quite a number of food options nearby, although prices are slightly higher compared to the town center. The kitchen is well-equipped and convenient for preparing your own meals, though the gas stove was a little weak.

Absolutely pristine location with ocean and sunset views right from our terrace! The place had a cozy feeling from the start, good shared facilities and amazing value for money for Easter island! The owner was very friendly and helpful, he got us a ride to the airport on the last day! It was very laid back and there was great access cafes, historic sites and the boat pier.

The room was spacious. Beach view from the room was good. Accommodation is near to the sunset point. Had all the amenities to prepare food. Walkable distance to shops and restaurants.

Great location, close to the main street and just across the street from the beach! The owners were really nice and helpful. I loved that there were many animals in hostal (cat, dogs and chickens). I would definitely go there again!

“Superb place to stay”

I really enjoyed my stay here. Terrific place on the sea front, walkable from the airport too. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. So close to the centre of town, with loads to do nearby. Only short walks to sunset points and to Maui along the coast. Small sea swimming place and park right opposite. Super clean, nice garden area with chairs and loungers where you can see the sea. I’d definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone. I am so glad I chose to stay here.

“Lovely stay”

Great location, can see the sea from the hostel. There is a fridge and kitchen for you to use. They have animals (dogs, cats and chickens) which roam which gives a really nice feel to the accommodation. There are 2 bathrooms downstairs and we never needed to wait for them as there is only a few rooms downstairs.

“A pleasant stay with an amazing host”

Maria and her family were very welcoming and even invited us to their New Year celebration. Everything I needed, she was always there to help. The bed was comfortable and the cleaning was well maintained even if the other tourists didn’t always care about what they are leaving behind.

The location is a dream, close to the ocean and a natural pool. You can have a beautiful view of the ocean even seated in the bed. Maria, our hostess, was particularly pleasant, full of energy and advice on the main tourist attractions. He offered us a trip to Orongo from the house and was a good guide when visiting this site.
