Breakfast was excellent, the pool was lovely. The location was fabulous. Very much appreciated getting picked up (and dropped off) at the airport. Staff were very nice! The grounds/gardens were absolutely spectacular and it was very quiet. Really enjoyed seeing all the different chickens that run around, not only on the hotel grounds but all over the island.

Great location, comfy beds, clean. However, the staff steals the show... Francisco and his team where extremely suportive, specially after we left stranded for another day at the island due to airplane technical issues.

“Wonderful place in a paradise”

We had a great time at hostal uruhao from the moment we got picked up at the airport until the moment we got dropped off back at the airport. Francisco was a great host. He was there waiting for us at the airport with flower necklaces, drove us around and explained the history of the island, showed us the moai close to the village as well as gave us very good advice about the shows to go to and the places to visit and recommendations for the restaurants as well. He was also the one that recommended our guide which was perfect and very knowledgeable. The hostal is in the city centre, but super quiet and the atmosphere is superb. Breakfast was great with fresh local food served every morning and the room was tidy and cleaned every day.

Airport pick up and drop off was included which was super helpful. The included breakfast was a great start to the day too.

Great location. Operated by an old couple, but very friendly and helpful, brought me to buy national park ticket and SIM card. Homemade breakfast, rich and good enough Free parking provided too

Such a wonderful place to stay ! The room was clean and cosy, with a balcony and a garden full of flowers. The breakfast was delicious. Mrs. Sonia made it every morning for us, with fresh fruits, breads, eggs, cheeses, honey, jelly and much more! Mr Francisco told us about the island history, and gave us a lot of tips for enjoying the trip! So, an amazing hotel 😍

“Wonderful hospitality with care and attention to detail”

Lovely old fashioned hospitality with special touches from the wonderful couple who run the place. Good information given about the island and places to go. The room was spacious and comfortable and well equipped, and breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Perfectly situated in the town for walking around, going to shops, cafés, markets, etc. A wonderful place to stay. We had zero issues or complaints - it was perfect!

It was authentic and comfortable. Room was very clean. Appreciated having a mini fridge. The breakfasts were excellent!
