“Amazing from beginning to the end”

When going to Rapa Nui it i the place to be, from arrival to the airpot till the moment they drop you off you feel like a long awaited guest. I stayed in the hostel but it is rather a guest house. You don't need to plan in advance, Benjamin will arrange tour for you over the island and bring you to traditional dance show which you should not miss! There is plenty of space - room has 6 beds in room size compartments for 2 beds, no bunks Big and spacious kitchen and everything is very clean and comfortable Thanks to Benjamin and his family mmy trip to Rapa Nui was like in the movie

Benjamin is an excellent host, from his communication before we met to meeting us at the airport and all the support and advice he gave us during our time in Rapa Nui! He has so much local knowledge and knows everyone which is always helpful. He is very friendly and goes out of his way to help, especially if you are interested in Rapa Nui culture. His place is exceptionally nice and peaceful (don't let the distance from the centre of Hanga Roa put you off). It means he has a lovely garden with many fruit trees and sun loungers, lots of different places to relax and chill out. It's a lovely walk into town and tours will pick you up directly from his place. He also provides free airport transfer and lifts to the Kari Kari (oldest dance show on the island and it's great!) as well as a discount for it. The kitchen, rooms and toilets are spotless. The shower is incredible! Thank you Benjamin and Jenni, we'll miss you!

Upon arrival at the airport, we were welcomed by the owner with a traditional necklace of flowers 🤩. The property is a very laid-back hostel, with a honesty system for cold drinks and discounted mineral water. We could also pick as many avocado’s from the garden as we liked, they were yummie! Our room was spacious enough and the bed was large. Kitchen facilities are available on site. The location looks a bit out of town, but it is an easy walk to the supermarket and city center. Transfers from/to the airport is included. On the day of departure we had the afternoon flight. Luggage storage was available and we could use the camping showers / bathroom to freshen up before departure. Upon departure we received a necklace we could take home, a small wooden Moai. How sweet!

Great hosts ! Thank you Benjamin. Well designed space, everything is available easily, while my intimacy was respected. Very comfy and CLEAN bedroom, had 3 great nights of good sleep. Very good value, especially for such a touristic/expensive island...

The stay was great overall. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, the bathrooms were clean, and the room was small and basic, but perfectly fine for the price. There is also a lovely garden, with sun loungers and chairs outside, and it’s really pleasant to relax and spend time outdoors.

1. The yard is a place to chill and see the stars at night. 2. Although the host wasn’t friendly with introducing things with English but always Spanish. He is responsive to my questions when I had (but the problem is we cannot even understand him so how we could have questions :)

This property is located walking distance from the town. It was very comfortable for a hostel. Our host was exceptionally kind and welcoming.

I had a great time staying at Tipanie Moana. The location is great, just a short walk to the sea front and close to all the restaurants. The facilities are clean and you have everything you need. Best of all , the owner is absolutely amazing. Made me feel welcome and at home, gave great recommendations and was super helpful whenever I needed something. I definitely recommend staying here.

The owner was very nice, friendly and helpful. The hostel offers free transfer from/to the aiport. The rooms were nice and clean. Other facilities (kitchen, bathrooms) were also very clean and comfortable. The location is very good. I really enjoyed my stay there.
