Helpful friendly staff, spacious comfortable room with good facilities. Didn't have breakfast but other guests said it was really good.

The host, Antoine, went out of his way to help us. My husband lost his ATM card and Antoine took him down to the bank, and thankfully, the card was in the machine. The breakfast was great value for money. Antoine had a wealth of knowledge about the Island. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is not in the town centre, but we enjoyed the 15-20 minute walk. Transfers between the hotel and airport.

Lovely place to stay in Rapa Nui. Antonio and his family were very nice and helpful: they support you with airport pickup, rentals and with organising activities. Breakfast is very recommended!

“Warm Welcome, Friendly Hosts, and a Slice of Paradise”

I was very excited for my trip to Rapa Nui, as it had always been a lifetime dream. My stay at Atavai Hotel made it even more special—it honestly felt like visiting friends from the very first minute until the last. I was warmly welcomed at the airport by Antoine and his family with a beautiful flower lei, and they kindly drove me to the hotel. Antoine took the time to explain what to do on Rapa Nui while I was sipping my fresh juice and then showed me to my room. The room was simple but very nice. It had everything I needed—Wi-Fi, a TV, a fridge, a kettle with tea and coffee. It was very clean and comfortable. Once you step outside, you’re surrounded by beautiful tropical plants and trees—it truly feels like a little piece of heaven. I only managed to have breakfast once during my stay because I had early tours most mornings, but that one breakfast was fantastic with a fresh omelette, fruit salad, and more. On my departure day, Antoine even suggested I spend my time exploring the town, and he personally brought my luggage to the airport before my flight. How nice is that! Small gestures like this really made me feel at home.

The customer service from Antoine was fabulous and incredible value for money. The moment we booked he sent us such useful information. It was well signposted although he insisted in picking us up. We would not hesitate to stay her again.

The staff is really nice and welcoming, we had a great stay! They provide plenty of information about the island. The hotel is far enough from the ocean so you are safe in case of a tsunami alert, no evacuation needed! But still within walking distance from the ocean. We will stay there again when back in the island, thank you for everything.

The staff were very welcoming and kind. You get a transfer from the airport and a full briefing on arrival. The hosts speak many languages and are very knowledgeable. The rooms are down little tree lined paths with beautiful flowers and the back is jungle plants.

Very good (optional) breakfast: fried eggs with mushrooms, pastry, buns, coffee, fruit coctail, some veggies, cheese, ham. Very nice owner and good contact to them.
