“A run down place for what you pay for the stay”
The place was run down and has seen better days. Don’t be fooled by the photos. The place unfortunately lacked care. Don’t choose croissant for breakfast - two tiny ones from the supermarket heated up.

“A charming Inn that’s good value for money.”
I struggled to find any accommodation in New Orleans as it was completely sold out due to the Super Bowl game. Therefore I was grateful to find somewhere that was not ripping me off at stupid prices like the other hotels in the area. I loved the unique feel of the venue, as it was like staying in a family home and not like a hotel. The host - David - was charming and I enjoyed our in-depth conversation about global travel. The accommodation was very comfortable and I slept very well. The coffee machine outside my bedroom door on the landing and shared by other residents was very convenient and good coffee. The breakfast was delicious with a croissant proving a French touch.

Nice to stay in an historic property. Large bedroom and good sized bathroom with tub. Access to balcony. Breakfast was fine.

Stale milk Bins not emptied Air con too near bed Facilities appeared dirty and in need of an update Accommodation stated balcony with a view, however, entrance door from accommodation opened onto an enclosed porch with a view of bamboo? Area in definite need of update/refurbishment Very old fashioned, worn furniture

Was incredibly pleased with our stay! The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. The owner, Chris, and his staff could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful. Will definitely book again!

We love staying at Michabelle Inn! The staff are super nice and helpful. The night was very quiet giving us a restful sleep. The farmer's style breakfast was hearty and delicious.
