“Respite!”
We had a toddler and booked especially to see the ponies and alpaca. Very friendly animals that loved apples. Great selection of breakfast, and the hosts were so accomadating to our fussy son and our allergies. Not far from the city to head there for dinner, and far enough to enjoy rolling hills and fresh air. Fresh cold water from the well. Big toys cupboard for kids (and adults) of all ages. Just lovely! Thanks so much Colleen and her hisband for a well needed respite from the city.

“Beautiful opulence!”
What a beautiful spot. Wonderful country feel with the animals nearby, wonderful views from the large room we had, loved the deep bath and opulence. Felt very spoilt! Wonderful hosts too, made us feel very welcome. Will definitely go again, hopefully with grandkids to feed the alpaca and sheep!

“Beautiful Italian villa set on a hilltop”
A fabulous Italian style villa set on a hillside just outside Hamilton. Quiet and peaceful with great views. We stayed in the "Suite with mountain view". It was spacious and luxurious. Other room looked much smaller but equal luxury. Note that some rooms had a shared bathroom.

“Very disappointing.”
The room was very small and hot (no air conditioning just a weak fan), the one channel TV wouldn't work after a hour, no facilities such as a hot water jug. The description online did not say that there was a large number steps both inside and out which were challenging with bags.The hostess doesn't answer any queries.

“Tuscany in Hamilton”

I really felt that the hosts were very genuine! They took pride in what they did, they were very approachable, yet professional. You felt that this was their home, and they really wanted to share it with you!
