“Worth what I paid, but I think I will stay in burlington next time”
Instructions were thorough and easy to follow. The host tried their best to be accommodating. At sign in, the room smelled like a rat died in it 3 days earlier. I literally couldn't believe the stench. I called booking.com and tried to cancel. They got me in contact with the owner's rep, who politely said I couldn't cancel my booking. However, they would offer me any available apartment in the complex. I checked 3 others, and none of them had the odour. They gave me the nicest one, the 3 bedroom with separate entrance that most of the photos display, at no extra cost. They communicated the whole time and were quite supportive. Stuff happens, I get it. If they don't know, you can't fault them for it. Other positive notes: The bed/pillows was really comfortable. HVAC and hot water was really responsive, Parking was super convenient. Value for money, even without the upgrade, was great
