Spent few amazing days at the Shangri-la Hambantota for my birthday in may. Everything was perfect, amazing helpful staff. Lots of activities to do. Quite and clean infinity pool. The spa is beautiful. We tried couple of massages. The Ayurvedic oart of the spa is better. Me and my husband enjoyed our stay there. Not a lot of people as it was beginning of the off-season that made our stay even better ))

We had one of the most beautiful and memorable stays at Shangri la Hambantota during our 4 day vacation and birthday celebration. From the very beginning, everything was handled perfectly and professionally, making the booking process smooth and stress free. A very special thank you to Ms. Tharindi for helping me throughout the booking and arrangements. She went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, including arranging a beautiful birthday bed setup with lovely sweet goodies waiting in the room. We were also lucky enough to receive a room upgrade thanks to her generosity and kindness. The entire hotel experience was exceptional. The rooms were spacious, luxurious, and extremely comfortable. The food was absolutely amazing throughout our stay always fresh, delicious, and with plenty of variety. Special thanks to Chef Rathanayake for making us feel at home every time we visited the buffet. His hospitality truly stood out. Also, thank you to Mr. Kapila for always arranging our table beautifully and taking care of us so warmly during our meals. Both the pool area was massive and beautiful, with direct beach access which created such a relaxing atmosphere. Even though swimming in the sea is not recommended, the view and surroundings were stunning. There were so many activities to enjoy including the golf courts, spa, zipline, flying trapeze, and the evening bike ride which became one of our favorite memories from the trip. A very special thank you to Mr. Priyadarshana for arranging and guiding the sunset bike ride so carefully. He made the experience so enjoyable and even helped us do a small sunset pre shoot during the ride, which turned out amazing. Anyone visiting Shangri la Hambantota should definitely try the sunset bike ride it’s peaceful, fun, and truly unforgettable. Overall, every single staff member treated us with genuine care and hospitality, making us feel welcomed throughout the entire stay.

The property is very beautiful with great landscape. It surely creates a one of a lifetime experience. Staff is very courteous, food is good, property is very clean. We really liked our stay. Special touch by the staff makes it even more memorable. Shout out to Kapila and his team for attending to us so nicely. Couldn’t have asked for more.

“Think twice before u book”

Check-in was a very big job for staff...wasted so much of time. Booked through booking.com where it was clearly stated about discount for activities....but at resort staff was unaware so we have to call manager and the problem was solved. Booked Yala safari through resort....staff carelessly sent us to different safari park on behalf of some other guests and then everything was mess up there....problem was not solved and we have to come back without doing that activity. WILL NEVER STAY THERE.

“Simply stunning resort”

Stunning resort in a beautiful and relaxing setting. The staff were super attentive and very helpful (thank you Tharinda). There were lots of activities organised and as a family of 5 we had an amazing time.

We enjoyed the pool facilities and water play area very much. My son had a wonderful time at the hotel. He had various attractions starting from water play, beach, model village and kids indoor games. It was equally relaxing and enjoyable for adults. We had leisurely talks at beach chairs / beach benches and hanging chairs. There were lot of exquisite designed places and easthetic eye catches that is suitable photo shoot backgrounds. I should specially thank the staff for their friendly hospitality and exceptional help provided. There were no delays and the buffet experience was also unique and authentic. We would like to thank Chef Rathnayake, Mr. Kapila and Mr. Kanishka for the support they gave at the restaurent. All together it was a memorable happy time with my family and I strongly recommend Shangri-la Hambantota for a leisurely family meet-up.

“Lovely Relaxing Stay”

The territory and rooms are wonderful! My little one truly enjoyed watching squirrels, birds, peacocks in the morning. Pool was great. Splash Park and slides are a bonus. Mostly we appreciated the staff. Everyone is kind and put a lot of love in what they do! Special thanks to Tharindi , Nalinda and Samanhi
