“Nice stay!”

Excellent staff, warm greeting and allowed us to keep two trolleys worth of luggage at the counter before and after check in. Free amenities for collection at the lobby for each night of our stay. Comfortable room with comfortable beds and excellent view out to the castle. Great shower facilities. Only stayed the night, but the lobby looked extensive. Excellent free short term parking nearby, with a park and Hamamatsu Castle all within walking distance.

We had two rooms , to be able to accommodate 2 adults and 4 children. The rooms were located across the hall from one another . The rooms were slightly dated, but clean nevertheless. The restaurant was accomodating to get us the last table to have eel for dinner - highly recommend!!

A very beautiful hotel, I loved the decor a classic timeless look.

The style of the hotel was just how i like it. A little bit older but classy. Professional but warm. My only regret is not eating at the top floor unagi restaurant👍

The inner of the hotel is just 2-3 star hotel level. The breakfast is not good enough as 4-star hotel as well.

Although the hotel is quite old, but it provides the old-day charm of Japan. Cosy lobby, taxi queuing waiting for customers outside the hotel, free water and amenities for customers, abandon and sumptuous breakfast, dinner venue 60m above ground to view the Nagoya city and Castle etc.

Breakfast spread was wholesome with lots of local produce, the unagi restaurant at the top of the hotel was excellent! It was one of the best ones I've had for a long time. We were also given privacy and space at the restaurant that doesn't break the bank. Staff were friendly and responsive though they might speak limited English. Rooms and compound were clean. And if you're lucky, you get the castle view from your room! We came with a 4 year old kid and they gave us an extra bed without us requesting for it, which was very thoughtful.

Free parking. large area for stopping my car in front of the hotel entrance for dropping and picking up my family and luggage. close to city centre. room is spacious (compare to typical budget hotel in Japan).
