Lovely spacious, very clean, well equiped and supplied cottage. Loved the indoor wood fire heater and comfortable bedding. Would definitely book the home again.

We were pleased with the house facilities, however the garden was neglected and basically nonexistent. It wouldn’t take much to rake up the leaves and plant a few native plants that are indigenous to the area.

The stay was situated off the main road so it was very quiet and peaceful. We liked that it was 2km from the centre of Halls Gap because it added to the tranquility and it was an easy walk into town on the well maintained track. The unit was super clean and well appointed with everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch etc. we were surrounded by trees, kookaburras and kangaroos- beautiful!

The lcoation was really lovely set amongst trees and wildlife. A moments drive into the town and in very close proximity to hiking, cycling and other sights and attractions. A super quite location for sleeping at night.

Excellent location just outside town of Halls Gap but in the bush with all the Birdlife..Cabin had all the facilities we needed ..Very clean and nice area for walking and driving through the Grampians..Would recommend for outdoor enthusiasts.

Everything was pretty good. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows and blankets provided. The bath was wonderful to use as a couple and enjoy. The living room was comfortable with lots of seating, and the kitchen was well equipped with lots of cutlery. It was a very cozy home.

We enjoyed our two-night stay. The Blue Wren Lodge 111 was very clean and comfortable.

“Spring an excellent time to visit the Grampians”

Actually booked the Blue Wren for my son and Daughter in law visiting from USA and we stayed in Kingfisher. Very comfortable and if anything the Blue Wren was better appointed (more recently modernised?) than Kingfisher. Spring excellent time to visit the grampians (Wattle! Joeys!!). Fireplace excellent.

Secluded quiet location well presented property,

We had the best time staying here, was so clean and comfortable. The place is so cosy it definitely makes you feel at home, especially with the spa bath. We will definitely be coming back again.

We had a little hiccup with the key code (our error) but having the code was easy as we didn't have to take time out to pick up keys or pull the owner away to deliver them. This was an easy way to go.

Lovely lodge located in a beautiful setting just a short walk from town. Very accommodating host with excellent communication.

The cottage was clean and well equipped with all that we would need for a short stay. We enjoyed lighting the fireplace and the beds were very comfortable. The location was near the brambuk cultural centre and not far from centre. We felt at home here and wish we had booked for a longer stay. Would recommend.

Cottage exceed all expectations, was well appointed with small extra comfort provisions that are always need when travelling were provided as extras which was a pleasant surprise. Really enjoyed our stay.
