“Good Value for Money Stay”

Good value for money. Clean room. Check-in arrangements involved receiving a text with a security code and then using that code to access the building and room keys in a key press worked well. Bed was comfortable and there was a fan in the room. About 20 minutes walk from the railway station. Would happily return.

Room was small but everything necessary provided. Location is perfect, just a few steps from market square.

The hotel is located in an authentic medieval building and the market square is just a few meters away. The room was cosy and all facilities were provided. Thanks to the host's instructions, self check-in worked fine.

I booked this property on the day and it was very reasonably priced, and the communication was excellent.. It's very central, just a few stops on the tram. It was very quiet, minus the sound of trams going past until around 23:30 (which I don't mind at all, but others might!)

I believe it's a historical building as its constructed in an unusual way inside. There is everything needed inside + a kettle. It's located right close to the central square. The only thing that might bother someone is the noise from the tram, I could hear it even at night.

Nice hotel for a short trip. The room was clean. The hotel has a very convenient location. The windows of the room faced the tram line, so those who sleep sensitively, it is better to take earplugs with you

You get what you pay for.....but some complicated arrangements with the keys (explained via a text message in German only, which when shown to a German person also didn't make much sense) made this trip a bit of a worry first thing, which is not something you want to start with. When I did finally get the keys there were 3 of them & they weren't labelled up. It would be really easy to lock those keys in the room or to somehow lock oneself out of the room, the upper landing or the property entrance somehow & I feel sure it's been done in the past & will be again. To help with this I actually labelled the keys 'Front Door', 'Upper Landing' & 'Room Key', which is the sort of thing the owners should have done. The room itself was fine but barely big enough for one person & I'd hate to be a couple or two friends in there for a week say! It really was, at best, a single room. Nice mattress & sheets tho', the cleaner came daily, good privacy, quiet and an excellent spot for the town centre, tram rides & coffee at 'Shafers' in Frankeplatz

The location is fantastic, the room was very quiet and clean. It was not very big, but big enough. The toilett was completly new. There were clean towels, shampoo and soap available. There was even a small terrace, which we didn't have time to use.

Bed sheet, bedlinen were perfectly clean, and were smelling very nice. The bathroom was very clean, the room as well. The heater was working very well.

All basic and a bit dated, but things worked and it was clean. Only phone interaction with staff due to key boxes, but they helped quickly and gave me room access well before check-in time. Very central location. Good value for the money.
