Very clean, big pool, very spacious

“Beautiful villa with the most perfect host!!”

We had a wonderful week in villa Zaira. The villa was impeccable with so many extras we didn’t know we needed including toys for the children, a first aid kit, mosquito coils, plenty of towels for the pool and shower. Enough food for our first lunch and a bottle of wine and some fruit was waiting for us. A very friendly greeting from Nikos who was always available for any advice. Honestly the most perfect week we could have ever wanted.

Fabulous villa close to the beautiful, sandy Halikounas beach and Korrision lake. The area is gently hilly, covered in olive trees and wild flowers. With three Traverna's within walking distance, the area is peaceful yet has accessible facilities. Fantastic hosts who were very welcoming and quickly dealt with any questions we had. My kids absolutely loved exploring beaches, collecting shells and playing in the pool.

Hosts are fantastic and very friendly. Lovely villa which was perfect for our family. Fully air-conditioned, BBQ in the garden and a great pool. The host even cooked us a BBQ on our last night ! 🙂.

Amazing villa with wonderful hosts, food and drinks for us on arrival, gifts for us on departure. They really do go the extra mile to make your holiday special. Can not fault the villa - spacious, air con in all rooms, everything you need in the kitchen, gorgeous warm pool, seating, outdoor BBQ and roof terrace for sunset and star gazing! Beds were super comfortable, showers were powerful and warm, location was great despite the rocky dusty tracks so go careful if you hire a car! Nearest beaches Halikounas and Prasoudi Beach only 10 min drive (Prasoudi was our favourite!) - very much a locals beach, not crowded, lovely warm sea. Can't fault a thing!

“Delightful”

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Zaira, even as we visited the island a bit early in the year. We were warmly greeted by Nikos and his daughter, who had not only prepared a welcome package with milk, fruits, bread and homemade olive oil, but also Souvlaki as a warm meal for our late arrival. The house is perfectly located for those who like peace and quiet, surrounded by olive trees and beautiful landscapes. Several beaches are easily accessible by car and day trips to Corfu town are more than possible. The little market in Agios Mattheos really has everything one needs. Travelling with a 16 month-old was made easy and the villa is perfectly equipped with both indoor and outdoor toys. We were delighted for find a parting gift from Nikos just before leaving. Would definitely come back!

Absolutely beautiful Villa, incredible hosts who met us and made us feel so welcome. Despite our late arrival they met us to show us the way, provided food for us free of charge which was the nicest welcome. The villa was cleaned half way through our stay and on our last night Nicos arrived with leaving gifts for us all, completely unexpected and made us all feel so lucky to have stayed at this Villa. The location is stunning and the pool amazing. Highly recommend for families.

Very Beautiful House, like Pictures

If you're not into resorts, dislike crowds, have a sense of adventure and a young family - this place is perfect! The hosts made us feel at home from the moment we landed by messaging us. They greeted us warmly at the villa. The welcome package with essentials such as milk, bread, coffee, drinks as well as lots of snacks and more after a long trip was a blessing. It is located in a quiet area, 12 minute walk to lake Korisson (if you're looking for birds and turtles), 5-10 minute drive to the Grava Cave, Gardiki Fortress, and Halikounas Beach. 15-20 minute drive to Agios Mathaios Village and very child friendly shallow Moraitika beach. There are three great places to eat locally - Spiro's Taverna, The Farm and Alonaki Bay. The Gardiki Cafe has a nice play area. The house itself was exceptionally clean, well equipped kitchen, lots of towels, hot water, fully air-conditioned with mesh doors and windows. We borrowed parasols to take to the beach. There was a cot and high chair and lots of toys to entertain the children. The outdoor space is enchanting a has a little swing for children and an adult swing chair to relax in. We used the outdoor eating area multiple times. We had planned to do a barbecue but then the lovely hosts did one for us! The swimming pool is 1.2m depth on one end and 1.7m at the deepest. The baby pool was lovely and warm. Please do take the opportunity to gaze up at the stars from the roof at night, you won't be disappointed with the view! Overall my family and I (children aged 6 years, 3 years and 6 months) had a wonderful time here and I would throughly recommend it.
