Thanks to the kindness of the owner, we were given an apartment next door (Elizabeth) which has a fireplace, and they provided us with firewood all the time. The apartments use air conditioning for heating, but we wanted to use the fireplace to complete the New Year's experience. Both apartments (Irene and Elizabeth) are large, well equipped with everything you need for a longer stay. The surroundings - Korission Lagoon with flamingos and sand dunes - are very interesting. The apartments are very close to the sea (about 200m), but the beach is about 2km away if you go by road, and about 1.5km if you use the shortcut and go on foot. We were walking. I cannot find the right words to describe the kindness of the landlady (Antigone). She tried to fulfill our every request and showered us with gifts, starting with a welcome coffee, via an unexpected pasta for lunch, to a crate of local oranges for πορτοκαλόπιτα (orange pie). Thanks for everything!

“Relaxing and pleasant.”

Warm welcome, hospitable and available people, clean house fully equipped, surrounded by nature, and very close to the sea. Ms. Antigoni accommodated all our requests, even the not outspoken ones. She offered us fruit and vegetables from her garden, as well as delicious homemade food.

Beautiful spacious traditional home with a lovely patio and garden. The washing machine is a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming and even offered us a delicious greek coffee and treats before we left for the Corfu Trail - marvelous!!

We had an amazing stay at this property! The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The location was perfect – just a quick 5-minute drive to a beautiful, sandy beach. It's a fantastic spot, especially if you're into kite surfing! :D The property itself was a delight. The garden was beautifully maintained, offering fresh fruits and vegetables. One of the highlights was the warm welcome we received from the host, who greeted us with delicious cookies and greek coffee. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking to enjoy Corfu.

“Nice Apartment with heavenly Garden”

We had a really great time! The Apartment was very well equipped with even more than you can expect. Directly in front of the apartments terrace you will find a nice garden with sunbeds and hammocks under olive- and orange trees and even an outdoor shower. After our arrival Antigone surprised us with a fresh salad from her garden, feta, and fried potatoes - it was soo good! Even the next days we found some fresh surprises like kumquats, eggs and more vegetables from the garden. You definitely need a car but then you will have no problem to go everywhere you want. In 2 mins by car or 10 mins by foot you are at the long sandy beach of Chalikounas. The next village is 10mins away, in Kerkyra you will be in 45 mins and during the season (maybe from may) you have to restaurants nearby.

Friendly , rural and homely. We really loved our host who went over and above to make us feel happy and comfortable. Greek coffee at breakfast was a treat. Wished we could have stayed longer. Well equipped kitchen.

We were on a walking holiday and the hosts were incredibly flexible about our arrival times. The welcome when we arrived was absolutely fantastic. The fridge was stocked, beer, water and lemonade. There were homemade treats and fruit as well as the offer of an evening meal. We were kindly given breakfast before being allowed to leave. We will definitely be back to stay for longer.

Beautiful rural location - you need a car to get around but parking easy. Very remote and quiet. Villa had everything we needed and pictures were accurate. Antigone our host could not have been kinder and made us some beautiful food with produce from her garden.
