We arrived a bit late in the evening, but the host couple welcomed us with such warmth and kindness. Parking inside the building was easy and convenient. They immediately prepared dinner for us—a beautifully arranged Armenian meal served with their own homemade wine and vodka. It was, without a doubt, the best meal we had in Armenia. Every dish was incredibly delicious, and the wine and vodka were fresh and exceptional. Breakfast was just as wonderful; they served eggs from their own hens, which felt so comforting and tasted amazing. After checking out, we accidentally took the room key with us and returned around lunchtime to give it back. They had coffee and snacks ready for us, which truly touched our hearts. Thanks to the hosts’ warmth and genuine hospitality, we were able to create unforgettable memories. If we ever come back to this area, we will definitely stay here again. This is truly the best accommodation in Armenia.

“Excellent hotel”

Nice hotel in the village near de rapeway departs to the Tatev Monastery. Also interesting is the place for exploring the region and its abandoned villages. Hosts are very friendly. They invited me to some good handmade food and red wine. Clean room. Quiet place, no noise. Breakfast included, with Km Zero products, in the beautiful garden. There is a free place inside for the car.

The hosts were really warm-hearted and caring. Especially if you speak some Russian you will enjoy their hospitality. I ate a lot of tasty food in Armenian guest houses, but their dinner topped everything so far! Also the view from the terrace is really beautiful.

Very friendly hosts with great advise regarding activities in the region. On request they will provide homemade food right out of the lovely garden by the hotel.The rooms including the bathrooms are clean and modern.

Beautiful location and the hosts are amazing. The husband gave me a private tour of their yard which basically supplies all of the food that they made for us. I'm writing this review even before checking out because I just feel compelled to share! <3

The hotel is located a bit away from the main road, but it's just a short walk and it's a lovely place to stay. The hosts are very friendly, they offer delicious food at affordable prices and they helped me to arrange a shared taxi to Yerevan. The property is modern and clean, WiFi works great.

“Most hospitable place in Armenia!”

This was one of the most unique stays I have ever had with booking.com :) The place is hosted by very sincere and hospitable couple. When we arrived we were served with delicious home made dinner made of local ingredients (including amazing wine and chacha). We have felt literally like at home here! It was worth to stay not only because this place is very well located on the way to Tatev but mainly for the people who run this place and their energy that they share with their guests! Highly reccomended to everyone visiting Armenia and going to Tatev! In terms of accomodation you will find here all you need. Cozy bed, clean rooms and bathroom.

The best accomodation I had on my 3 weeks bicycle trip through Armenia. Givan and his wife were very helpful and friendly. And the best is the food there. Givan and his wife are wonderful people. They received us with home food after a long driving from Yerevan. Also the room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend hotel halidzor to everyone visiting Tatev monastery.
